That's a line of reasoning that never occurred to me.
I kinda like it. _________________ "If he believes his 1971 indictment of his country and his fellow veterans was true, then he couldn't possibly be proud of his Vietnam service." |

Quote: | Pres. Bush claimed in the Gore/Bush debates that Jesus Christ was his favorite philospher - Why? "He changed my life." Pres. Bush doesn't claim to be the same person he was as he was in the Reserves. Kerry claims he hasn't changed. There is no logic to discuss this period of time regarding Pres. Bush, but every reason to examine Kerry as he flipped and flopped all his life. |
This is a very prescient point in how Kerry will eventually be exposed as the brankrupt individual he is. Thanks for your insight. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

4 years ago I would have voted for kerry. I then started on a spiritual walk. Two years ago I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior. I am a different being now, I am voting for Bush, mainly on value issues. Its nice to have values now. I thought there was nothing wrong with Clinton and monica when it happened. I have changed. Kerry's lying 4 years ago probably would not have bothered me to much. I have changed. I have been forgiven because I surrendered, Kerry needs to surrender also. |

Well, there's nothing wrong with praying for Kerry. No one can sink so low that God can't reach down and save him.
Just don't vote for him, OK? _________________ antimedia

ok, that's the winning vote here.... pray for Kerry, just don't vote for him.
we'll pray and let God do His work.... I too was saved.... back in'77 - it changes your outlook on most everything. I can't stand the yelling, lying, dirty tricks, rudness etc of the demos.... Bill Mahr is on now (w/ bor rerun) he says the republicans win because they are better at the mud slinging.... and it sticks.... he is blind and deaf.... when we win, it's because the truth sticks... I think that's how it was with bush in 2000, he stayed out of the limelight (and I'm sure figured if he were supposed to win, he would) and I'm sure he thinks the same way now... Mahr says that clinton lying about monica wasnt' important....it was to me.... he cheated on his wife (right there in the WH) and lied... under oath or not! To Kerry lying is like breathing.... it's so natural to him! oh, yeah, I heard him again today spouting about faith and God etc.... my stomach lurches when I hear him talk like that.... |

I saw the Mahr interview. I wish O'Reilly would have asked him about the VVAW or Kerry's Paris trip. I'm sure that even a slug like Mahr would have heard about that by now. It would have been fun to watch him dance and try to sling mud in the other direction to deflect. But bor doesn't have the brass for that. But he allowed that slug to keep repeating that Bush was a liar.
Mahr claims to be a Libertarian, but he's about as far left as Kerry and does his best to discredit anybody that questions Kerry's ethics. Let's hope he's really POed in November.
About 3/4s of Hollyweird should be movin' to France after November. |

"That line of reasoning" had occurred to me, but taking it a little further, I am trying to figure out why, even IF the documents were authentic, the DNC or CBS really thought they were all that important? I mean, good heavens, how many of us have not had a bit of a spat with our immediate boss or superior but then got it worked out, and said superior would readily vouch for us now? I know that my former boss and I got into a heck of a confrontation one time: I was almost mad enough to quit and he was almost mad enough to fire me. But, at the end of the hour, he respected me more for standing up for myself and I understood better what pressures he was under. We didn't quite cry and hug, but, a good friendship was born. If I was to update my resume today, he'd probably be my #1 reference, because I know what kind of a reference he'd give me!
That being said, I wonder if anyone knows what Killian had to say about Bush when all was said and done. If he was strongly positive, then the case on Bush's service is closed. (This issue of forgery, however, is just getting started!)
The other interesting thing is that MSM seems quite uninterested in what Kerry's superiors thought of Kerry, when all was said and done.
I also noted on CBS website, earlier, while my wife was looking at it, that some character named Strong insinuates that the Guard at that time was corrupt. (I can't find the exact line now -- maybe CBS has updated the article?) Does this sound familiar? Hey, old Guardsmen & women! Don't wait to defend yourselves! _________________ Paul R. |
