With the outstanding journalistic and investigative work now being done by sites like this, by some great bloggers and many talk radio hosts, the
Mainstream Media should now be called the "Old Media." CNN led the way in the spiral downward and Dan Rather and CBS put the fork in them. If anything, this week showed their time has passed.

The old media are sinking. Just look at the fact that Fox beat all of them during the conventions. And that newspaper Newsday, which was inflating its circulation figures. These guys are gone. All that was needed was an alternative. We got one now.

How do you think Rush got so big so fast? If you find a market that is under-served and you fill the gap people will come, they most certainly will. The old media is just not bright enough to see that the conservative position has been under-served.

Main stream media should be referred to as MSM. Jim Pinkerton today on Fox News Watch informed his colleges that MSM was a derogatory term.

Now that they got it, why let up?
