While I am a new "Swiftie" I have been reading, (and donating) for a number of weeks now.
I admit that I have donated to W also. Immediatly after donating to our President my mailbox filled with mailings asking for more dough. These mailing cost the RNC some amount of money each.
This morning I donated 4 cents to the DNC and I expect that their computer will spend several dollars over the next several weeks trying to get another 4 cents. Who knows, mabs another 2 cents just to keep them on my trail!! _________________ For my kids. |

Ok, now that was FUNNY, and CLEVER!
Did you send the 4 cents via check? This is funny, I may do the same thing.
I think I'll send them a check for 3 cents. _________________ -------------------

Belay that- I just got an email from the DNC saying thanks but no thanks, minimum NOW $10.00. No way Jose.
Will try to find a workaround for financial war of attrition.
Let you know.

I just tried to donate 1 cent to the DNC and it would not accept a donation less than $10.00. Needless to say, they didn't get that from me. |

All you have to do is register at the dnc site, you will get tons of mail asking for money. do the same with moveon, and act. They will send you enough to have quite a nice bonfire in the back yard, also, if you are lucky you will get one of those nifty "hope is on the way" bumper stickers, to top off the fire
Oh did I mention I roasted enough hot dogs on the last one to feed a neightborhood!!!LOL |

Let me begin by emphasizing that I am NOT suggesting anyone do this....
When I was in college it was the heart of the Nicaragua Sandinista/Contra war. Their was a typical lefty pro-Ortega organization that sent a fund raising mailer to my fraternity. Included in the mailing was a business reply envelope (which costs the receiving organization nearly twice as much to mail as putting normal postage on it).
A "FRIEND" took the BRE, made 20 copies of it. Then laid hands on 20 cinder blocks. The cinder blocks were than wrapped in brown paper packing and then had the BRE affixed and summarily deposited at various post offices around town. _________________ Whose side is John Kerry really on?
