Hi all,

Folks, as a pilot, I try to get better images of weather, since the average consumer doesn't get current images... Plus I'm worried about my Mom who is in Cape Coral Forida.

As the storm moves North or wherever, go to the MAIN PAGE, and click the choices and then click on the map to bring up the images.

At the main page during daytime you can choose Visible.

Most of the above are updated every Fifteen Minutes and time is in UTC, so you have to adjust if you are trying to figure out what time is in your zone...

The GOES images look pretty good on my monitor. Also of interest are the NWS statements. I find the "discussions" particularly interesting. That current projected track looks like it could be a lot of trouble, with Ivan raking most of the west coast of FL, highest winds on the coast side of the storm. Good luck Florida - we'll be praying for you!

Awesome, thanks. On that one Atlantic Imagery Loop, it looks like the eye took a little joggle straight west and is going just south of Jamaica (if I'm reading it right). Anyway, looks like Jamaica is getting hammered.

Category 5 Now, winds upwards of 165mph... Off the Scale too...
(Would be a Cat 6 if they had one)

Look out Cayman and Cuba...

Then North towards panhandle but anything can still happpen... The pressure on that thing keeps dropping, and it is already one of the lowest pressure storms ever out of the Atlantic.

Low pressure = high winds, in this case...

Say Prayers folks for anyone in this path.
