Notice that every new accusation tossed out by the left is designed to deflect the charges leveled against the man with the buttocks injections in his face.

Their strategy may be working as well. They have the MSM to help them.

This is typical "slay the messenger" attack politics by the left. The method requires that you shout down, smear and eventually dismiss the person(s). They never deal with the facts of the accusation because they can't. You can see where it was employed by the lefties against O'Neill.

Little Chrissy Matthews is a prime example. If he doesn't agree with you (O'Neill and Malkin) you are shouted over, interrupted and basically derailed from your train of thought, and not allowed to get your message out. He shouts lies, you never get a chance to refute them, and the viewer is left with the impression that the lie has been "unrefuted."

I have to say, O'Neill's courtroom training has allowed him to mostly overcome this, and Zell Miller was hilarious and effective in putting Matthews in his place.

Of course, the other tactic is to ignore the messenger entirely, as the now discreditied liberal MSM did to the SBVT for almost four months.

It is not just in our media. I had it demonstrated upon me by a leftist neighbor two days ago. Asking a question, then interrupting, then claiming I was taking too long to answer---after about a sentence or two---thus, justifying the right to interrupt. I left the exchange vowing to never say another word to these people, but feeling red and hot all over. Normally, I'm fairly calm. It felt to me almost what it is like to try to talk to an alcoholic, a drama-queen, or an addict...maybe all three at once.

Made me appreciate even more what Mr. O'Neill is capable of doing, and grateful for him to be able to do it.

He can't say anything in his defense because there are more vets that spoke out against him than there are that are supporting him and he knows that people will believe a majority over a few of his "friends".
Kerry is a loser and that will be accentuated on 11/02!

Check the rest of the article, Maureen Dowd now blames Bush & Cheney for the children killed in the Beslan tragedy.

Her closing paragraphs mocking the "Eastern" movie genre are pretty funny though.
