How come on $1.9 million is shown, not the $6.7 million mentioned on this other thread?

Because of lag time and reporting dates.

Maybe I'm wrong about that. But I do know I'll never again send a greeting card through Blue Mountain Arts.

The report seem to include contributions through 9/9/04.

Both may be correct. I read the report and wondered the
same things...especially since I knew I had contributed in
the 9/9/04 time frame (piddly amount) but my name wasn't
there. I can't answer the question but I imagine if something
is wrong with it, the SBVs will let them know it Very Happy
To be honest, I don't really care, as long as I keep seeing the
ads and the speeches by the SBVs. John O made the remark
the other day that I thought was perfect: (paraphrased by me)
Pity Kerry wasn't Republican because Soros would be donating
to the SBVs Laughing

They 've spent a ton more... somewhere today I read a list of what is / was paid to consultants, ad agencies, other ads, filmmakers etc

It sure adds up!

As I understand the FEC rules, the Swiftvets are required to file this report within 24 hours of releasing an "Electioneering Communication", in this case the "Medals" ad, and they are required to disclose sufficient funding from "approved" (i.e. non-corporate sources) sources to pay for the communication. This is all that the Swiftvets have done with this filing, and that is why the bottom line amount is less than we have seen elsewhere.

Please continue your comments on the duplicate discussion here:

I think any questions here are answered there.

Thanks,
