Born and raised in Florida with family in Vero Beach, now living in Washington State. I don't miss hurricanes.

Hello,
TY..
When I first moved here in "79" I ran straight into Fredrick.
What a storm. I never faced one before being a native from Maine.
Hurricanes turn counter clockwise and throw trees around like missiles.
I'm not sure what it will do after it gets into the Gulf of Mexico can rebuild and hit us.
I will keep my fingers crossed.
TY again for your concern. _________________ -Oasis

Today is a "motorcycle" day here in Germany. Its about 70 this morning and will get a little warmer throughout the day. There is not a cloud in the sky.
Its suppose to be a nice weekend too......and I hope so, I am going riding in the Alps this weekend
I am originally from Florida too. (Satellite Beach). While I am enjoying my time in Europe, I am looking foward to returning to the states. _________________ Regards,

Its great weather here in Minnesota. I feel for the people in Florida. On the other hand I am waiting for Kerry to try and spin the hurricanes as being Bushes fault. |

I'm sure if Florida votes for Bush, Kerry will claim a voting machine malfunction due to hurricane damage that Bush did'nt get cleaned up fast enough. |

Fall came early in Texas. Beautiful brisk days. Mild and highs in the mid eighties. Ah I just love it.
Our prayers for the safety of all in Ivan's path. _________________ Nomorelies Make a donation HERE |

beautiful in Missouri--all summer long. Cooler and less humid than I can ever remember. If this is global warming, I'm for it! |

Being Miami, Fl born and raised I'm very aware of the "fun" of hurricane season. Of course, I'm referring to the football types. How 'bout them Canes?
We saw several storms in my youth and as a kid it seemed like a great wild adventure. Flying coconuts, COOL!!! We always had the traditional hurricane party, my Dad being a telephone man, usually had to work thru the whole event.
Now living in East Tennessee, we are seeing many Floridians here, escaping the storms. I miss the beaches, but there's alot to be said for the tranquil Smokies. So if your dodging the next "EYE", ya'll come back now, ya here
Stay safe everybody!!! _________________ Born on the Fourth of July |
