I'm in Baton Rouge and we're under a hurricane watch. Joy, joy. We're away from the coast a bit and on the left edge of the blue swath. Andrew did a lot of damage here when he came through. |

Sorry for all you folks who got hit. Baton Rouge had barely a brisk breeze, no rain. We got lucky this time. We'll still see some disruption and people move through here to get home, but that's the worst of it for us so I'm not complaining (and I have supplies on hand for the next storm). |

Hello,
I'm alive made it through a terrible hurricane.
Trees blew on houses they were everywhere.
I'm glad I cut the trees down in my yard or I would have lost my power lines and would have sustained more house damage.
My privacy fence was destroyed. Some shingles flew off the roof.
My storage shed was damaged. Garage door damaged.
The power went out for about 14 hours.
I got back online yesterday 9-23-04 but it went down then back-up.
I put together a small web page for you to see just a little of the damage around Pensacola.

September in Massachusetts is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, all the stupid liberal bumper stickers and yard signs ruin the view.
My regards to all those in Florida. Hate to be political during such a dramatic time, but I saw that Jeb's job approval during the hurricanes was 93% to 7%. Amazing. Also, Kerry is being drowned out and can't campaign there and I assume Floridians are looking forward to stability and normalization which would help the incumbent. |

The weather is fall like here in the Mid-Atlantic. I am praying for all the Floridians out there to be safe. |

Jacksonville Beach, FL
noaa map not looking favorable for Florida's east coast. How does mother nature expect us Floridans to monitor the effectiveness of the Kerry suppression fire? _________________ The war against terrorism is not that Americans might die rather that we would alter our way of living. Hello,
Hurricane Jeanne has devastated South Florida.

At least 1.5 million without power, 3 dead in wake of state's fourth hurricane of 2004. FEMA response is largest in its history.

Hurricane Jeanne
Hurricane Ivan has wrecked havoc upon almost everyone living in Pensacola. Food, water and ice are given freely to those in need.
