Imus asked him if he has read "Unfit for Command".
Kerry said no.
Said it was just a pack of lies and they
have all been proven wrong.

Claimed he doesn't know anything about the hundred pages of records the Pentagon hasn't released. What a liar! |

Well let's see...
About Bush... He;
> Went it alone in Iraq.
> Wasn't prepared for the war.
> The first President in 72 years to lose jobs.
> Misled the American people into war.
> Hasn't provided the troops with what they need.
> Isn't telling the truth about how the war is going.
> Rumsfeld should resign.
> Etc., etc., etc.
Same old crap really. When asked what he'd do in Iraq now he replied that he'd have to wait to see what situation on the ground was at the time. Maybe he's planning to personally charge after wounded and retreating enemy? I figure he's got his eye on winning a MOH for himself. He'll pin it on his own chest I guess. |

I am so mad that I missed it, however it sounds like I would have been even MORE mad had I actually seen it. Thanks for posting what you remember, if anyone happens to run across a transcript/video/anything of that sort post it if you have time please! |

So is Imus still "undecided" or did this butt-kissing visit by Kerry sway him back to the dark side? _________________

Grumpy Don says he'll probably vote for Kerry. He says he doesn't hate Bush but he absolutely despises Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld. He was very contemptuous of the the notion that democracy can work in the middle east.
The interview was done by phone by the way so video won't help much. |

Imus has gotten himself into his own bind. He loves John McCain, and McCain is supporting President Bush.
It was nearly laughable that Kerry said he didn't know what was considered a violation of Geneva Conventions when he committed atrocities. He was an officer, wasn't he?
By the way, he danced around the SF180 question Imus asked. He said all documents he received are posted on his website, and they're "trying" to get the rest. Uh-huh. And I'm the queen of England.

How could I have forgotten this????
He half way apologised for anyone who thought he was talking about all servicemen when he testified about the war crimes and atrocities in Nam. But he couldn't quite get it out. Then he defended his testimony before the Senate as being courageous and the right thing to do. |

Imus did have the stones to say to Kerry "you testified to atrocities in Vietnam etc. Is that different from what the soldiers at Abu Ghraid did?"
Of course, Kerry said yes. He implied that he didn't know that what he was doing was a war crime. I guess he was only "enlightened" after his return.
He was also asked why the WaPo said that they could only access "6 out of hundreds" of pages in his military record. Kerry said that "to the best of his knowledge, they had all been released" Imus pressed on: "The WaPo doesn't think so" Kerry: best of my knowledge spiel again, plus "just some medical records." Yeah, the ones showing your PH's were a farce!
What a pantload!!
Imus said afterwards: "I know he is my guy, but I have no idea what his plan is!" (after asking him several times)
Kerry also said in response to "what is your plan" : "I won't know until I see what I have on Jan 20."
So he will "do everything differently" but he cannot tell us what that would be.

Yeah there was an awkward silence there for a minute when Kerry played dumb about the records. That was the perfect opportunity for Imus to jump all over him. It was obvious that Don knew he was lying. But he lacked the guts. |

Imus mentioned his visit to Walter Reed with McCain and asked Kerry if he has visited there.
Kerry answered that he had, many times.
I'd like to see if that can be documented.
He also went into a diatribe about how those injured had been illequipped...no body armor
( families had to hold bake sales to buy it for their kids), unarmored humvees, etc. _________________ America voted for solid LEADERSHIP and gave "W" a mandate to carry on.

I didn't lose my job because of President Bush --- I lost my job because of 19 Islamic facists flew airplanes into the WTC, the Pentagon, & PA and in the process trashing the travel industry. I ended up unemployed for 39 weeks. The job market is very strong now --- just two weeks ago I had 3 job offers.
The problem with the job market is that it is changing. Most of those complaining about the job market are the same type of people who wanted to continue to make buggy whips after the mass production of the automobile. The market has changed --- people need to keep updating and changing their skills. |

Update on Geneva convention etc:
I: "Is there a difference between what happened in your case in Vietnam and what happened in Abu Ghraib?"
K: What i was referring to in that testimony is the general categorization of free fire zones and some of the weapons that were being used (the .50 cal). Says he "never knew" the Geneva Conventions when he was there. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |

You are so right! Everytime there is a discussion of the economy, and what Bush purportedly did to it, the subject of 9/11, possibly the single biggest strike against our economy since the Great Depression, is NEVER mentioned.
If you do, Kerry and his shills claim you are using the disaster for political gain.
My question to Kerry: "fine, if 9/11 is off the table, then subtract all the direct and indirect effects of it from your discussion of the economy, and we will begin there.
I think that should stump him. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |
