Most likely: CBS will announce a "formal internal investigation".
Very possible: CBS will announce that Dan Rather is the Messiah and remind the world of the infallibility of our lord (in other words, they could continue to dig themselves in. _________________ Whose side is John Kerry really on? Take this quiz and decide for yourself.

Congratulations to everyone!
This press conference is part of the process of the CBS behemoth being called on the carpet by motley band of pajama warriors.
Those familiar with the term 'hive mind' might contemplate the application of that term for what has transpired for the last 6 days. CBS can tout their experts but what the 'hive' has done is process the same information in a massively parallel computational model. The expertise of hundreds, if not thousands and the knowledge of millions (as we searched for information on the internet) focused on this one issue with overwhelming mindpower. Literally, overwhelming mindpower was brought to bear on these documents so swiftly that the MSM was brought to its knees.
CBS can run, but they can't hide. They can only hope that we grow weary and move on to something else. _________________ Think!, Man... Think! |

Maybe they are going to be commenting on the congressional hearings Rep. Cox called for? _________________ Deborah

Martha Steward will make an announcement at the same time.
Hmmm.
There was some cookie dough on one of the memos.
We know she facing hardtime so she might do something desparate
to help Kerry.
She was handy with a word processor and she looks like Dan Rather.
Whoa I think I just connected the dots...... |

Sounds like they are content to keep digging in. "Major" announcements are not made via emails. |

I think they will admit the memos might be forgeries, that they might have been duped, but that the important thing is the content of the memos is true, according to Killian's secretary, and that they are standing by the allegations in the memos. That will NOT fly as there will still be no original memos to document their claims, but I see this strategy possibly coming down the pike but it won't work for lots and lots of reasons. Just a thought.
And the Washington Times cartoon is GREAT!

Thanks for the laugh Hammer2 I needed that this morning
[Edited addition] I think what CBS might do is whip out the 87 year old secretary and try an hide behind her. _________________ Proud to be an American! and member of the PAJAMAHADEEN
