Cool. Can we dismiss any high ranking military who support Bush on account of their being Republicans or having advised some Republican or having supported something or other sometime or other? Confused

We could start with Uncle Tom Powell Laughing Laughing Laughing

Me thinks that this really stirred the pot with the "all veterans hate Kerry" crowd.

Funny how Bush new about Osama, but instead wanted to fight the Cold War that had been over for 10 years. Hows come we no longer hear about the missle defense shield from his dumbass? Laughing Laughing

Dear Sir,

1. Would you please either learn how to spell, or get a spell checker for whatever computer you obtained from the corner pawn shop?
2. Unfortunately, I cannot parse your other statement. It is quite demented. Could you please either get sober or take your thorazine and repost more coherently?

I'm patient with such matters, so please don't feel offended at my request.

Best,

FDL

Perhaps if one has not the intelligence to figure out the misspelled words he could not follow what was going on anyway.

Do you have documentation on that? Wink

It was the Clinton built Military that went to Afghanistan and Iraq. Bush didn't have time to rebuild everything, especially with his month long vacation in his first year.

More typical Democrat double standards and speech. Bush didn't have time to rebuild any military, yet he had time to know all about 9/11 coming and screw up the economy and lose millions of jobs.

It's almost sad seeing the desperation in you guys.

However, so what if some former general officers and admirals endorse Kerry? Hearing Democrats attempting to embrace the military today, after decades of despising it, is most laughable to me.

Don't even get me started on Wesley Clark. Opportunists always flock together.

Read the history books. Who was pumping money into Afghanistan to the rebels while Russia was mired in that war. This is common knowledge. Dont try to avoid the issue. What about Rummys trip to Baghdad in the 80s and the now famous pic of him shaking hands with Saddam? Wink

Democrats do not hate the military.

The job losses came in the past two years, after 9/11 and his lofty tax cut claims in 2002, not early. Funny how corp profits are up 67 percent and real income is down .6 percent. Rich get richer and India gets jobs.

Desparation. Hardly. You guys are getting you asses handed to you on your own site about the guy you are supposed to be opposing because you are lazy and lack resources to back up your claims. You just make unfounded generalizations.

I have read wintersoldier and you are all pissed over ancient history. Today, Bush is pissing in your drinking water and killing people for oil and you do not even care.

Seems to me that's there's quite a bit of that coming from both sides. In fact, your comment itself is an unfounded generalization. However, we also have been greeted with a "Sieg Heil" or two along with a wish that I and my fellow vets from the Viet Nam era be spit upon.

That is the generalization, that is the rhetoric that continues to depict you and your friends to me.

Convince me that the left, that those who support John Kerry, have the slightest bit of class and decorum and maybe you will be on the road to convincing me that Democrats do not hate the military.

Until then I only have the words I have read here recently, and that is far from impressive nor assuring.

Saint,

That's what Osama did whilst Bill was screwing around with Monica in the Oval Office. Osama "brought it on" while Bill "got it up."

kyleparr--loaded with propaganda. Saint--just another leftie arsehole who took English 101, 20 years ago in college, and watched his Slick Willie today on C-Span.

Veterans support Bush by 56-43 percent; by September 12th this number should be about 65-35, if not higher.

Saint loves the military. How encouraging.

We propped up Afghanistan against the former Soviet Union, to keep the former Soviet Union from getiing a warm-water port for her navy. Osama wasn't involved in terrorism back then; the Taliban didn't run Afghanistan back then.

We propped up Iraq, against Iran, to keep the Persian Gulf shipping lanes open and to prevent Iran from taking over Iraq. We were allies with Saddam in the same manner that we're allies with the Saudis today.

That was then; this is now. I just thought I'd explain those two cases because one of you two lefties read Winter Soldier and said that it was "ancient history." So, isn't what happened in the 1980's ancient history too?

And don't blame these guys for dredging up the Vietnam War; it was KERRY who brought it up long before the primaries. And he keeps reminding us, to this day, of what a hero he was. Only we know better. We know the truth. More and more, others are learning the truth. Soon, everyone will know the truth.

So why don't you trolls go on over to one of your lefty blogs, like appeasethemullahs.com. and discuss how we can make nice with the world by tossing the frisbee and giving jihadists the peace sign.

Swiftvets, I bid you good-night. You guys rock!
