Kind of ironic how the MSM and DNC are using forged documents to cast an illusion and direct focus away from legitimate scrutiny. Where is the outrage (besides us) over Kerry's fake awards, and even more importantly his post war activities of which we have video, with his own voice, and his own words? The media should be consumed with knowing the truth's and motivation's. Instead, it's all on Bush's Guard records and fake documents to support some wild theories.
So in a sense, MSM and DNC have achieved their objective. Throw up a smoke screen just long enough to get the election over with. So now they're all standing around the scuttlebutt laughing about the direction of all the attention...

I've heard President Bush critized because he stopped flying. Seems to me this was actually a nice thing for President Bush to do. Seems to me there were a lot of pilots, those back from Vietnam, his fellow TANG pilots all looking for flight time, most looking to gain experience in order to become commercial pilots. Seems to be that this "fortunate son" could have used "favors" to get flying hours over these guys --- and continue flying the rest of this life like these other guys. But instead he cleared the way and took his option to go to Harvard Business School -- possibly an option these other flyboys did not have. Seems to me, President Bush did someone a favor by leaving early --- not taking up space, and flight hours, greatly coveted by another pilot. |
Not only did it allow some career-minded pilot a chance to get additional experience, but it saved the tax payers a ton of money. A major portion of an AF aircrew's compensation is based on flight pay. When Pres. Bush went off flight status he stopped getting that pay. _________________ Served with US Army in Americal Division 2/69 to 9/70. |

Lest anyone gets a little "smug" about this and thinks that the world is convinced of the false nature of these documents and the sincerity of Dan Rather, read the following survey just released by Rasmussenreports:
27% Believe CBS Memos Authentic; 38% Disagree
Survey of 1,000 Likely Voters
September 14, 2004
CBS Memos
Authentic 27%
Forgeries 38%

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rather
Unbiased 38%
Trying to Help Kerry 38%
RasmussenReports.com

September 14, 2004--Twenty-seven percent (27%) of voters believe that the CBS Memos concerning President Bush's National Guard service are authentic. However a Rasmussen Reports survey also found that 38% believe the memos are forgeries.
Among voters who are following the story very closely, 56% believe the memos are forgeries and 27% believe they are authentic. Overall, 38% of voters say they are following the story "very" closely and 34% say they are following it "somewhat" closely.
Only 16% of voters think questions about President Bush's National Guard service are "very" important. That view is held by 27% of Democrats, 13% of unaffiliated voters, and 6% of Republicans.
Forty-two percent (42%) of voters have a favorable opinion of Dan Rather, the anchor who reported the story and continues to defend the memos. Thirty-three percent (33%) have an unfavorable opinion of him.
Thirty-eight percent (38%) of voters believe Rather presents the news in an unbiased manner. An identical 38% say that Rather is using his broadcasts to try and help elect John Kerry. |

Don't poo poo those poll numbers.
As competitive as the news business in, they can't afford to have nearly 40% of their target market thinking they are guilty of this. _________________ Whose side is John Kerry really on? Take this quiz and decide for yourself.

Yes, and I imagine a good 20% of our fellow countrymen probably are convinced that the president "stole" the 2000 election and even if the docs are frauds it is only "fair". _________________ Served with US Army in Americal Division 2/69 to 9/70. |

Would someone please reproduce this so that it looks like the CBS memos?
Thanks for the laugh beyond the grave. I salute you Col. Killian.
