This isn't the last stall. There's one more coming....
The press release is going to be stalled until they can run it on the nightly news, so as to minimize the coverage on the other networks.
They (CBS) are so transparent.

Here's a simple boycott email that can be cut, pasted, and sent to these advertisers.

Knowing how much attention this announcement is getting, they will probably wait until the evening news and then broadcast an interview with the old lady. My advice...
Keep great track of every national advertiser on the newscast, and boycot them, making your reasons known. Meaning, if long distance company X advertises and that is your long distance company, immediately call the company and switch, telling customer service why you are switching, then follow with an email to the company.
I would go to the webpage of each advertiser and at least send an email. This will make its way back to Viacom. It may not make a difference, but it will be heard if enough people follow through. |

They are delayed because building security is having trouble prying Dan's fingernails from the Nightly News desk. It'll all be over shortly...stand by...
heh...I wish...
No, I think what's happening is the Viacom lawyers finally pulled their heads out and re-read that ABC story from yesterday. This thing can pull the entire network down if it's proven they KNEW the documents were fakes and still ran the story. Regardless of what Bush did or didn't do, this is no longer about him, it's about CBS's actions and the law. |

| According to lucianne, they will admot memos not authentic, but content is legitimate. In other words, they'll say the memos werent originals, but they were based on legitimate info and then they wil try to redirect this at Bush as if he some pressing questions to answer. Its a joke. |

Unless I'm very much mistaken, that would make someone guilty of a felony, that being forgery of supposedly official military documents--
It will also, I'd bet, make a Congressional investigation as well as one by the FEC to find out who made them in order to fraudulently influence a presidential election a mathematical certainty--C

| I think it's also the threat of a congressional investigation . . . anything they say right now can be used in the investigation if it ever happens. |
