Don't know if this has been posted but C"BS" is bringing the above mentioned 87 year old secretary in to try and bail them out.
Lets forget about the forged documents. A sad old lady that says Bush was selected not elected, is going to be paraded out in an attempt to confirm their original premiss. Just heard this on CNN. |

Just posted on Drudge:
Quote: | Statement by the President of CBS News, Andrew Heyward:
"We established to our satisfaction that the memos were accurate or we would not have put them on television. There was a great deal of coroborating [sic] evidence from people in a position to know. Having said that, given all the questions about them, we believe we should redouble our efforts to answer those questions, so that's what we are doing."
|
Notice that he fails to mention the authenticity of the memos. They want to be right no matter what - The memos are accurate even though they're fake!

Start redoubling your efforts, CBS--you haven't answered any questions yet!!! Where is your corroborating evidence?

My e-mail to CBS and CBS News:
Quote: | You realize, of course, that the arrogance of the ridiculous three-sentence "clarification" that it took you people collectively over 8 hours to produce from the time when it was first announced that you would be making a statement means only one thing to the viewing public--
CBS is a dead network--
Buh-bye--

I'm almost guessing that their redoubling of efforts to answer the questions has a double meaning. Knowing the way the unbiased minds at this network station think......I think they want answers to the questions to Bush more than answers as to how these forgeries came to light.
How could CBS possibly think that the word of an 87 year old secretary with a walker leaning waaaaaaaaaaay over to the left is going to outweigh the word of the wife (likely Killian's closest confidant) and son (who served with his Dad)? They must really be as stupid as they appear. |

Their choice of words is classic:
Notice they said the documents were "accurate" not "authentic". _________________ Whose side is John Kerry really on? Take this quiz and decide for yourself.

I understand they're consulting with Shirley McClain's spirtulist in an attempt to "channel" with LT COL Killian.

"Only CBS News is doing something about it."
These were the words at the end of a CBS News commercial about the media coverage of the election. What a confession. |

I think this says it all
Say, wasn't the script on the Ring in Times New Roman [Elvish Character Set]?
