Where can we go to get the most reliable information about what is going on in Iraq (i.e., about the military, progress, etc.)? I need to some research and debate.

I finally found the article...it is just a newstory on the women...sorry. You might try doing a google search on "Iraqi women blog" or something to that effect. I think I'm going to try that tomorrow myself.

Here's the link to the article:

I spent a year in Iraq, 7 months in Tikrit and 5 months in Baghdad. I will answer any questions to the best of my ability. If I am unable to answer them, I am in contact with several people on a daily basis that are in Iraq now, I will solicit their answers and post here. _________________ Regards,

Thank you for your service. You are a hero.

What is the general assessment by those in country of our progress in Iraq?

Do they feel they need more troops? Any different strategies? Would love to hear the good news of their work with the people.

Knighthawk, I would like to know if the stories we are hearing about "95% of the Iraqis want us out of Iraq" are true. I think the country would feel more comfortable about us being there, as long as the Iraqis truly want us there to help them through this. What are you hearing or what have you heard? Thank you for your service - and thank your family for me too, I know they went through hell - you guys are absolutely AWESOME! _________________ -------------------
