This looks like typical Michael Moore/Moveon.barf stuff. This soldier does not look at all like he's surrendering. Looks more like he's wading or stretching or any of a hundred different possibilities. I think this is just one of a long string of photos and other info taken out of context.
I think it's more likely that the moon is made of green cheeze than Moore or moveon.org reporting anything acurately and honestly. |

moveon.org is a group of anti-American cowards who hide behind the 1st Amendment. They hate all things American. In this ad they are trying to break the will of the American People. They might just as well be working for their friends the Islamic Terrorists. What they are doing is not decent nor is it an expression of the first Amendment. It is treason. They are the enemy within. |

I have a question.
When your enemy is surrendering are they allowed to continue to carry their weapon just so long as they do so above their head or do you tell them to put their weapons down and step back with their hands above their head?
Just wondering. _________________ The war against terrorism is not that Americans might die rather that we would alter our way of living. If we get to a point where we choose not to go out because of fear, our economy will sink and in the end so will our nation. Vote Bush. |

It has been suggested that previously mentioned photo is not actually a soldier photographed surrendering.
I can hereby certifiy that the picture is accurate and certified by experts, who must remain unnamed. Besides even if they are forgeries the story must be true or we wouldn't have brought it up.

The ad shows a soldier walking through the desert, then they step in quicksand and slowly sink to their chest. Supposedly this symbolizes our progress in Iraq.
I am split on wanting this ad to air all the time, because the backlash will be monstrous... to wanting this ad to never air because it is such an insult to our armed forces.
It never ceases to amaze me how out of touch with reality the moveon.org crowd really is, and how low they will go to beat Bush.

MoveOn.org and all the other Soros funded radical left-wing septic tanks will continue to overflow their slop without giving any consideration to the truth. They are masters of misinformation and their disdain for the facts and the truth is evident as they seek to promote their agendas. They are comprised of anarchists and socialists who try to use our democracy against us but when their causes are defeated, they crawl back into their dark, smelly world of muck and wait for their next "Damien" to come forth spewing hatred.....then it's back out into the light to start all over again.
This quote always comes to mind when I see the left-wing ads or hear the Kerry mouthpieces spewing their negativism.
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

The guy is just a hired actor in a Hollywood prop department soldier suit - notice no unit or rank insignia on his shoulder. The scenery looks more like Southern California than Iraq or Afganistan. Like everything Kerry, it's all fake!
These are the same kind of liars, telling the same kind of lies, that they did about our guys in Vietnam. We will have to fight them tooth and nail until we win and they lose. If you don't want to listen to these liars for the next 30 years about Iraq, then work hard to stop them now! _________________ "The price of freedom is eternal vigilence" - Thomas Jefferson

Jane Fonda was on CNN last night. She is one of the biggest contributers to move on...she was talking about getting the women to vote..for Kerry of course. I don't understand how she could think that this ad will get women to vote.
God Bless our soldiers,

Those slugs at moveon never seem to tire of saying or doing anything that might be demoralizing to our troops or their families here at home--

Dear Greenvale,
I can respond to that, as a woman..You see women tend to think emotionally, they picture their sons, husbands, brothers over there, being killed, tortued, kidnapped, blown up, sinking in the sand so to speak. So, because of that, of course they would want them to come home. I would of course want my loved one home..yet, I would not see him that way. I would see him fighting, defending, liberating, honoring his men and his country..for our lives, our freedom. There in lies the difference.
I had a long talk with my dad tonight. What a man! He finally talked to me about what it was like..amazing tales, some so touching we both cried for the first time over the loss of his youth. Yet, he said, the difference now and then? The country was devoted to the war effort. It was about the men and about the effort, and the victory! Then my mom told me about waiting each and every day for "the telegram" yet..going to work, working at the plant..proud of what her loved ones were doing over there, and proud of what her country was doing over here. It was all about the effort..They both said it again and again..over and over. It was about the "boys" and about the "effort" nothing more, nothing less..
I asked them both about the political upheaval, was there any? NO, they both responded. There was some..but whether you disagreed with the fight or not..ALL supported the effort, the boys, and the CIC..something has happened to change that. We do not need commercials, or ads to remind us that men are dying..we know that..although we do not await the telegrams in years past..we know, we hear and we mourn the loss of them all.
My dad said that most men went for 4 years and came back 4 years later..open ended service he said..as long as they needed you..woman, they wanted them home, but would suffice for an occasional blackened letter, as my mom said..all blocked out..but the words were there..oh, maybe one every two months if one was lucky..But again, they knew..it was not about them, their feelings or the politics of the day..it was about the effort, the boys and the victory.
This is why I get so damned angry..why is it so hard for these socialists to understand? Because they never will, and I have come to accept that..although I will fight like hell to defeat that way of thinking and voting and believing..if for no other reason..for the war effort and the boys..and the gals too!
Women? Stand up to your friends..remind them that this is not about feelings, it is about our way of life, the respect and honor of our men and women in battle..oh, and the "war effort" ~ Thanks daddy...

kerry pulled the same S*** in 71...Don't let him do it again...There were too many lives lost because of his ignorance...He's playing games again...I know this time the public will not fall for his inhuman ideas...The kamikaze kampaign bitched when Bush used the 911 in his ad...Is this any different?...This a****** ran home after 4 months, from Vietnam...chastised our Military, testified, got Vietnamese killed, in the process...This idiot is death warmed over...The ad stupidly talks of money, that could be used for schools..etc...What the hell good is taking money, from our troops, putting it in schools, etc., if our homeland gets hit?...First things first dummy...And don't say kerry is not behind the ad...
The ad has to come down... _________________ "John (F) Kerry = "Talk the Talk"

In a CBS exclusive, they have located the "soldier" who is depicted in the "surrender" pose in the latest MoveOnOutOftheUSA.con hit ad. Dan Rather personally vouches that the id card carried by this "soldier" was typed on a 1970s typewriter and the photo was taken with a Brownie Starflash camera. He is just off camera interviewing the "soldier".
