Major Garrett (on Brit Hume's show) just reported that John O'Neill said that last night the number of donors exceeded 59,000 so there are now more donors than deaths in Vietnam. |

Yeah I just saw that. That is spectacular.
You know what really got me though was Kerry saying the book was a pack of lies. O'Neil said sue me.
How about we start a whole other collection and initiate our own law suit? Huh? Kerry just defamed everyone connected with the book. How about sue him to provide the proof behind that broad brush smear. |

although i'm very happy there are so many (donors). that's not exactly true. thanx to hanoi john.
so many vets took their own lives when they thought they were returning home after being labeled the way they were by kerry. more than died in the war.
thanx john |

Thanks for pointing this out. Even though I was only able to give a very small amount, I feel like my donation gave a voice to one of the fallen heros listed on the Wall. They were never able to speak out against the false accusations Kerry made against them; I'm proud to do what I can to help the Swifties continue to speak for them.
John, that is such a heartbreaking reality. It's hard to fathom that these men and women survived a war, only to find the life they were left with intolerable. It's way past time for Mr. Kerry to be held accountable. |

I'm ambivalent on this. I'm very saddened to be reminded of how many Americans we lost, more so being linked to the number of donrs.
Sorry, but that's how I feel.

It's a tribute of sorts. Some people are voting in the name of a fallen Vietnam soldier relative or friend, some are donating to the Swifts, the organization that is leading the way in setting the record straight with regard to the honor of our fighting men and women. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

If you value the lives that were given for human self-determination you should contribute and collectively make sure that 5 contributions for every life given was to assure your freedom. It is the only way we have other than a ballot box.
