Is it possible to compare the actual number of days served with Kerry?
Those people that SUPPORT Kerry -
8 days.
Those people that believe that Kerry is unfit for command -
Please help me with this number....
Thanks! |

What is your definition of served with?
I worked at the POW/MIA office and Kerry was one of my bosses on the Presidential Commission on POW/MIAs. That was four years of "serving" with or "serving under" depends on which political camp you are in.
However, let me make it clear: I never bunked with Kerry or put him back to bed when he was sleep walking.

How many believe unfit can only be an estimate at this time because the word hasn't gotten out to most Americans yet. Roughly, I'd guess it's approximately 155,000,000. By Nov 2 I expect it to be closer to 165,000,000 (based upon extrapolating from the percentage of votes cast).

Sorry, my bad.
Served with, in country, beside or under while actually enlisted in the service. Not counting Paris.
I guess, 'Swifties' particularly from the photo on the home page - this is what nearly blows the veins in Colmes and Matthews heads.
I would just like an answer to throw back in the face of somebody who says - "but there are people that ... yadda-yadda."
Something like "Although it is true that two/three people in the photo DO support Kerry, the actual numbers shows an overwhelming mistrust by those that served with him for longer periods of time, for example in this photo, the total time spent with Kerry by his SUPPORTERS is eight days, however those that do not believe that he is fit spent ___ days with him."
Thanks! |

I would take a guess that each Vietnam Vets in this forum have more time standing in a Vietnam Chow Line then Kerry had for his complete tour in Nam.

Undoubtably, but this is the sort of rhetoric that the other side is slinging, I would prefer to counter the Kool-Aide with facts. It is very easy to generalize, but things like '57 commies' stick in the mind - although this is probably a particularly bad example. |
