These men are determined to undertake one last mission, to search out and destroy the last vestiges of the lies told by John Kerry and others like him, to pacify their hearts, to conquer the hate and fear that have been leveled against Vietnam veterans these last thirty years and more. So that when, another thirty years from now as the citizens of the republic they helped preserve visit them in the quiet still places where they will find their eternal rest, and the smallest there ask about these brave souls, we as grateful citizens will be able to speak of what it meant to serve in Vietnam and not mean a desert, not a filthy obscene memory, but the place where America kept faith with the ideals upon which it was founded.
