and his Haliburton dealings. Anyone know if anyone plans on bringing up Kerry and Colliers in Vietnam??? I know this is probably out of the scope of the Swifties ads. I have my fingers crossed there is another 527 out there that will hold Kerrys feet to the fire on this. We're not even talking 35 years ago on this..it's been what..a little over 10 years? |

Please let them see how much time they can spend beating on Dick. Attacking a VP candidate has about as much impact on the election as them beating on their own.
One more sign of the apocolypse for a campaign with no:

Cheney=Halliburton is a tired old dog. Democrats are bereft of ideas, desparate, and full of hate.

Oil companies had a pretty tough time of it in the 1990s. Now they get to
make some profits. Tech stocks have had much bigger runups but you
don't hear a lot of complaints about them.
Cheney made peanuts compared to the CEOs of tech companies. But
nobody likes to talk about that. |

The Dems do not have much of a leg to stand on crying foul in regards to Halliburton. That Company was awarded No-Bid Contracts in the Balkans under Clinton also.
KBR(Subsidiary of Halliburton) has been contracted by the DoD since I can remember, and their presence grew under the Clinton Admisnistration.
Fact is this is nothing but a bunch of hot air distortion (as usual). It is the same guilt by association ploy that when held up to the light of REAL investigation falls apart. _________________ U.S. Army 1983-1995, 11C1P/11H2P NBTDT |

ALERT!!!
Has everyone noticed that the DUMICRATS have not made mention of Cheney's deferments lately???
Could it be someone reminded them that;
Cheney applied for and got them legal/legit for
-education
-marriage
-birth of daughter
AND
KERRY applied for FIVE DEFERMENTS ALSO! He got FOUR & was turned down for the FIFTH!! His were for;
-education
-education
He applied for the FIFTH to study a year in France and was turned DOWN and was told NO because he was about to GRADUATE!
As you have noted here and elsewhere Halliburton is a non-issue because of the Clinton administration using the same company in the same manner!!
I think Bill 'O Reilly should give up his slogan "looking out for you". No discredit to him; it is just that the SWIFTEES DO MORE TO LOOK OUT FOR US!!
Thanks and make it a great day!

Can we figure out the differences? Cheney and Kerry. Halliburton and American International Insurance Co. The difference is that Dick Cheney worked for Halliburton and John Kerry never worked for American International Insurance Co. In other words what Cheney receives from Halliburton is called a benifit for past services rendered. What Kerry received from American International Insurance Co. for their services rendered to the US government is normally called a bribe. By the way that tunnel in Boston cost the American People more money than it cost the American People to build their part of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Amazing isn't it they do not bring that up. |

Am I off track here? Isn't the possibility of leaving POWs to die in communist Viet Nam the issue? Shredding of documents so that the families have no hope left?
All for the "state building contracts" in VN and billions of $$$$?
Isn't that J Fn K's mo? Cut & Run.........desert your brothers?
SSG Bobby Glenn Harris is now home after 33 years...
Bobby was Killed-in-Action March 17, 1971 in Snoul Cambodia during the Vietnam War. His remains were finally discovered and brought back to Oklahoma for burial with full military honors at Fort Gibson National Cemetery on Friday September 3,
Maybe I'm way off in la-la land but this is a serious issue that was all but covered up. {Much as the Nicaragua insident that Geoffrey brought up}.
This is part of the VN story. Are there any alive? It haunts me.
Just my 5 cents and a few more tears. _________________ PROUD wife of Army ASA Vet - 66-70

Usually we compare Presidents with Presidential candidates and
Vice-Presidents with Vice-Presidential candidates. Edwards has been
incredibly low-profile in the campaign as he doesn't have a military
background and so Kerry has had to pickup that part of the work that
the VP candidate normally would in attacking the other VP.
Now if Kerry wants to debate Cheney, I'm sure that could be arranged. |
