In past wars, wouldn't it be treasonous to tell the enemy about troop movements, etc?

Typical idiot. Komrade Kerry straight up told the National Guard yesterday (thur) that he was going to increase their ranks, and call them out to do homeland security.

He is also on the record for wanting to double the size of our special force operators. That would be another 40,000 operators, so at least that many more in support for them. About 80,000 more troops in special forces alone.

Who knows though, this lunatic is liable to declare "Quagmire Emergency Status", and say he's going to pull everyone out of everywhere if elected, by next Friday's speech.

What an utter liars Kerry and his campaign is. The plan to call up these reservists has been known within the military since 2003; thats when the Army planned it rotations for OIF 3 for 2005-2006. And the Democrats know it.

They are now using scheduled troop callups, which ARE CLASSIFIED and are not given to the press or announced in advance for security reasons, as fake evidence of sinister secrecy by president Bush. Just like they try to use fake evidence in their recent Bush-TANG accusations.

This has Carville written all over it.

This is why the Democrat party cannot be trusted with National Security issues. They are shamelessly using routine military planning and disclosing troop mobilizations in an election year to smear the CINC in order to regain political power.

In other words, they don't much care for troop safety or security, even DURING WARTIME.

I attended Dick Cheney’s town-hall meeting in Oregon City yesterday. A high school student stood up and said his teacher refused to sign an absent slip to allow him to attend. He went on to say “My teacher also said that you will reinstitute the draft if you are reelected. What is your view of the draft?” The TV news shows showed a concerned teenager asking the Vice-President about the draft. They edited out the “my teacher wouldn’t sign and my teacher said” portions and also edited out most of the points from Dick Cheney. Tell me again the part about how they only report the news.
