| I read somewhere that his campaign staff told him not to do the "black power" fist salute so much. kerry now turns it into an ackward wave, like he just remembered he was scolded for doing it. |

While I agree with the second part of this statement, considering the fact that Kerry is a recent survivor of prostate cancer, I don't fine the premise that he might identify with Armstrong's organization difficult to believe at all--C

That's fine if you choose to think that...I do not. Lance Armstrong is a supporter of President Bush. I still think it is for show. However, the band isn't the issue...he had on a red one first....is he color blind?

| Actually, Bush has the yellow wrist band too. I don't think he wears it much, but I read a news report that said both Kerry and Bush had one. They are both bikers too. Bush has a Trek Fuel 98 mountain bike. Nice one, got the rear suspension and everything. Kerry...heh...this guy has a Serotta road bike ('bout 8,000 dollars). Fascinating, the stuff that the AP chooses to report, ya know? |

Candi, This was not a quote from my posting. My post was not biased in any way and simply has links to The Lance Armstrong Foundation and a possible explanation to Cali-Girl's question. I also included the Mission Statement verbatum from the Live Strong site.
