One day a grade school teacher asked her class to indicate by a show of hands how many were Kerry supporters. Since the school was in Boston, all of the kids raised their hands except Johnny. Angered by the lone dissenter, the teacher asked Johnny why he was not a Kerry supporter.

Johnny replied, "My Mother is a Bush supporter, my Father is a Bush supporter, so I am a Bush supporter."

Now truly irate, the teacher asked, "Well, if your Mother was a moron and your Father was an idiot, what would that make you?"

Johnny replied, "Well, I guess that would make me a Kerry supporter."
