Wouldn't he be due to do the news Monday at 6:30 Eastern?

I saw on FOX that one of their reporters caught up with him. He asked the FOX guy if he felt duped working for FOX after he was asked the same about the docs.

FOX has been running this all day. LOL!

He was leaving Austin. Another Swiftee operator tagged him Fri on a flight to Dallas.
That IS funny about Fox, when you have a liar convicted in the court of public opinion running down your network. Considering teh source on that one is great. lol!

Ya know, ol' Dan is going to start to get suspicious, seeing all these people in pajamas following him around.....

Oh yeah, there is something I just remembered. Karen Hughes (Bush's Karen Hughes) was also at the Austin airport at the same time. They did not use the same security gate entrance. Different sides of the airport. I wonder if they were intentionally avoiding each other. She is a class act just like Laura Bush. Did you see the RNC coverage (I think on PBS) where Karen had Mark Shields eating out of her hand. I just loved it.

" Do you feel duped working for FOX?"
"Well, at least I have job security with them. Retiring soon, Dan?"

Yeah, sure Dan, everyone presenting a viewpoint different from thine own has been "duped". In your pointed little head that is equivalent to staking your professional reputation on forged documents?

Sheesh, how embarrassing. Dan Rather in meltdown, film at 11.

Rather was in Austin, hmm? Maybe he was at Lake Austin Day Spa, having a massage and doing some last ditch effort yoga. I live a little south of Austin...I will tell you this much, Texas has some seriously out-of-control Dems. You have to understand, Dems RULED Texas throughout our history until they were finally shoved out the door by the Reagan Revolution. This ushered in George Bush, and the Dem party has been in serious decay and decline ever since. They can't get their hands on Reagan so they go after Bush. And "go after" is a serious understatement. These people would sell their souls to the very Twisted Evil himself for a shot at Bush. Look at Paul Begala: he is pretty representative of the Dems here. There is so much scandal involving the Democratic party here (look at Johnson's election to Congress, for example) that it boggles the mind.

The Dem party is in so much trouble here that they have a difficult time even counting on Hispanics, their traditional stronghold here. Many Texas Hispanics love the President.

Texas:
Bush 68%
Kerry 32%

We don't even see any political ads!

Yes Kimmy, I concur with your assessment on Texas dems. Since the dems have become a minor party in Texas, they have become more rabid and irrational.

The same will probably occur nationally when RatherGate's coordination with the DNC become known to the American voters.

Your son has all the BEST WISHES from our family and prayers in abundance from the good people in this group! Very Happy

Has anyone ever noticed the rabid symptoms all the lefties have in common? Ever notice that they seem to have the same kind of brain damage? Hmmmmm Wink

Any docs out there that want to look into this?

I wonder where that sharp wit and mental acumen was when the forgeries were being examined prior to his big "expose?"

Sounds like someone is getting a little touchy. LOLOL!

Our Talk Radio station here in DC (WMAL) has little tag lines they like to put in their promos, like "Today's talk, tomorrow's news" and "Talk about it today, read about it tomorrow" and forth.

The past week it's been alternating between "We don't make the news, we report it" and "We'd rather be accurate than right"

*ZING*

Sharp wit? I see a meltdown, but I missed the sharp wit. Please be so kind to direct me towards it.

I saw a most sickening piece of tragi-comedy on CSPAN recently. It was some Journalists Symposium and was taped on Sept 9, a few days after the "memos" were released, but before the caa-caa had really hit the fan. They had hauled Uncle Wilty out of his crypt and propped him up with pillows and were all gathered 'round, listening to him rant and wheeze about Journalistic Integrity. Mostly, it was a call to "walk out" of jobs where a "journalist" would be forced to take a certain viewpoint. He kept wheezing on and on about Integrity and Courage and Walking Out for Honor(I love it when retired rich old people talk about standing up for truth, even if it means getting fired, don't you? I wonder how many kids he has in college?) until I thought he would have a stroke. He was taking a jab at FOX News, or thought he was. It was meant to be a defense of Rather, but now, knowing what we know, it was a damning, scathing indictment. It was surreal.

I kept waiting for Rather to jump up out of the audience and smother him with a pillow. "Shut up, old man!" I'm serious, I was actually getting nervous. *I* was starting to wonder what the frequency was.

This is me watching this little piece of theatre: Shocked

I couldn't even laugh, it was like a train wreck.

And I can normally laugh at everything on CSPAN.

ww vets daughter, you are welcome at my house any day--mi casa es su casa!

The Democrats worse nightmare? Thinking people-- period!

Remember Morales challenging Bush to the "big debate" and then Morales "tricking" Bush into agreeing to hold it in El Paso? The Morales crowd are all congratulating themselves on their cleverness--then Bush walks on stage and opens the debate by speaking to the Hispanics in flawless Spanish. He was met with thunderous applause and later received a standing ovation.

A few years after that, Bush was President of the United States, and Morales was in jail. I wonder if Kerry speaks Spanish...I know his wife speaks French...and we know how much love Mexico has for the French, can we say Cinco de Mayo?

VIVA BUSH!
