Friends, Americans, and fellow pajama clad bloggers, lend me your ears.

I realize that in this brave new world of 3 am brilliance, a new lexicon has arisen. A new language, if you will.

The term MSM, or Main Stream Media, has long been one of the stalwarts of this new language, but I propose a change. I humbly suggest we bloggers-in-pajamas adopt a new term for the leftist media: OIM, or Old Irrelevant Media.

I read that term on this BB, and although I "can not recall" exactly which of my oh-so-brilliant colleagues began to coin the phrase OIM, I would like to formally propose we adopt this new term.

My reasons are many:
*calling the leftist propogandists "Main Stream" confers a legitimacy upon them of which they are not entitled.
*referring to them as "Main Stream" implies we, those of us untiring seekers of truth and fearless practitioners of common sense, are on the fringe. I submit it is not "us" but "they" that are on the fringe.
*calling them old and irrelevant strikes a crippling blow to the belly of the beast (their silly and patheticcally over-blown egos) and focuses attention on the fact that their mouth has too long written checks their @ss simply can no longer cash, and, therefore, we are closing their accounts. Effective immediately.

The OIM will go the way of Old Europe states such as France and Germany, spineless corrupt Socialist states entering into illegal contracts with repugnant, murderous dictators in a failed effort to inflate their bank accounts and keep their ship of state afloat. Likewise, the OIM is willing to crawl into bed with the most disease ridden whores in order to further their own agenda.

As this President was bad news for Old Europe, we bloggers are bad news for the OIM. We are the submarines in this drama, if you will. While the OIM has their eye on the surface ships looming on their horizon, and scramble to meet that threat, we bloggers man the sub that launches the nuclear strike they never even saw coming.

Spread the word--MSM no more! OIM from here out! Soon, God willing, it will be ODM! (Old Dead Media)

I'm with you on this. I've called the MSM the socialist propaganda for years being a militant gun owner and involved in gun politics.

My preference was LLSm (liberal lame street media) but old irrelvant media is much more meaningful and appropriate.
