John Kerry was way behind in Iowa Caucuases. He needed money.

There were others in the race who had not married as well as this FORTUNATE HUSBAND. Joe Lieberman, Dick Gephart, Bob Grahman, Howard Dean, al Shartpton... They were not as lucky s this FORTUNATE HUSBAND.

He was able to get a 6 million dollar loan on his and Teressa' home, this FORTUNATE HUSBAND.

He did not buy the home. Terassa brought it to her marriage to this FORTUNATE HUSBAND.
Never mind that his Senate salary could could not pay the interest of $360,000 per year @6%. He would count on his wife's earnings to pay the bills of this FORTUNATE HUSBAND.

After hearing from Mrs. Heinz-Kerry during the past several weeks I am not altogether sure whether Mr. Kerry is, indeed, a fortunate husband.

If you saw the "kiss comparisons" at the national conventions, you might not think that Mr. Kerry is so fortunate.

My wife(a rightwing jewish canuck) thinks GW Bush is Handsome or....a hottie, something like that)and thinks wife Laura is beautiful and full of Class.I agree they are quite the handsome couple..hotties though? Bo Derek,Raquel Welch(both Conservative REPUBLICANS, BTW) are hotties!

Leno did a video comparison of this the other night. Kerry kissed Teresa and it was like a social kiss. Then they showed George & Laura and he gave her a nice loving kiss (but not an over-the-top Gore/Tipper "ratings" kiss) and then he slipped his arm around her waist.
Leno said "wait...", and then you saw George's hand slip down and give Laura a few booty pats. The audience cracked up, because you could tell it was a natural, totally unaware gesture on his part. He may or may not be embarassed to see it show up on TV, but it was obvious- George is a booty man!

I've seen other hilarious pics comparing them kissing their spouses. One great one of GWB laying a swoony kiss on Laura, then one of Teresa scrunching her face up with a turned head while Kerry kisses her. LOL, it reminded me of the cartoon skunk Pepe LePew kissing the unwilling black & white cat!

My boyfriend detests politics and politicians, but was impressed when he saw a photo of GW with his hand on Mrs. Bush's rear end while kissing her. I believe it made the President seem like a "real" man or something. Compare that to the sickening Gore Kiss. I have to go and hurl....

Sort of off topic, but I remember watching a TV interview early in President George HW Bush's presidency, where both he and the First Lady were discussing life in the White House.

At the end of the interview, the camera remained on the two of them as they walked away, side-by-side. Suddenly, and if I'm recalling it correctly, Barbara kicked George in the butt (you know, that bit where you quickly curl your leg to the side to kick the other person in the butt)!

I thought that that playful act showed a real fondness between the two of them.

Kerry is not a fortunate husband. He married her for her Billion. Teressa is not Ist lady meterial.
President Bush is a lucky husband. Laura (Ist Lady) looks and acts like Ist Lady of America.
