I cannot even imagine CBS having Dan Rather covering the election on November 2 after Rathergate. Think about it. Will the president of CBS News risk a worse night of election coverage ratings by letting Rather continue? No!

All common business sense says CBS News will force Rather to resign. However, does CBS News have any common sense?
