CBS need to apologize to President Bush and America.
This is only the beginning of the end for CBS and Dan Rather.
Don't let them influence the election.
Call and e-mail CBS and Dan Rather to demand them to come clean.

Dan Rather owes the American people more than an apology. He did the worst thing a reporter can do. He reported a story without checking his facts. He was so eager to slam our president that he ran it.

Where's his apology to the families he hurt. The families who's names he drug through the mud? Some of those military men are now deceased. They served honorably during their time only to be slammed by CBS and Dan Rather many years later. Does an apology cover this?

Where's the apology from the person that started this mess? What does he owe the families (and our President)? Can a civil lawsuit on behalf of the families involved be filed? In my opinion, he slandered them!!!

Someone needs to check on this.

I hope that Ashcroft moves fast on this! Mary Mapes (the Producer) is on a warpath against the Bush Administration, her current President. I still can't figure out how they were able to continue to provide comfort to our enemy with the whole Abu Ghraib reporting while we are in the middle of this fight for our future, leading to Nick Berg's beheading. If I were a parent of someone kidnapped or beheaded, I would be on a similar warpath to find a lawyer willing to file libel charges against them.

Dan Rather repeated many times over the past week that even if the documents were fraudulant, its the CONTENT that's important!

I think it was the CONTENT that clued the White House that they were fake! Bush KNEW that Killian didn't write the order for a Physical. He and KIllian had a good relationship. He and Killian agreed there was no point to Bush continuing to fly: F102 obsolete; not practical for Bush to train on a different plane; returning pilots wanting fly time.

Based on the CONTENT of this memo, Bush knew Killian never wrote it! So he said to release the documents to the press, and lets watch CBS hang themselves with it. I love it!!!

I am not only demanding CBS apologize to President Bush but they must FIRE Dan Rather, Producer Mary Mapes, CBS News Director Andrew Heyward, and Reporter John Roberts. They all had many meetings together and ALL were complicit in the airing of the fraud. They are all tainted by the lack of integrity of this "news" report and they all must be GONE!!
That's my message to CBS . --Apologize and rid of us this disreputable crew.

They are only proving that they have something further to hide, and that raises the question of who is the source, and how high up does this go?

Becuase if it comes out that the DNC and the Kerry Campaign is in any way connected then the man is TOAST.
