Here we go. There is a site snowbirds something that is advising that NY snowbirds here in FL should switch there registration to FL as their vote may make the difference here in FL and they may not need them in NYS. There are reports(?) concern, questions that in 2000 there were numbers of folks who voted in both states. I know for a fact some lady was standing next to me and asked if she would be able to vote if she had an absentee ballot. Needless to say I reminded her she could only vote once. When she was at the table to get her card (yeah the ones with hanging chad potential.... if punched by an idiot) I told the poll worker the lady had an absentee ballot. Don't know what happened after that. This time around I will for sure monitor any such activity more intently. Supposedly Glenda Hood, sec. of state is on the hunt for all these irregularities but hey Fl lets send emails or letters or make phone calls to her office and make some noise. This is very upsetting.
