Didn't Terry McAuliffe earlier blame Karl Rove for giving these forged documents to CBS when he knew all along where they came from? Seems this angle should be explored a little more. |

I have a possible theory I like to toss into the discussion.
LTCOL Burkett said "giving her a false account of the documents' origins to protect a promise of confidentially to the actual source." One of the burning questions is who is the actual source? Remember the former Secretary for LTCOL Killian that Dan Rather interviewed after the s**t hit the fan? How did Rather know Killian's Secretary name and how to get in touch with her? Burkett???? She said that the documents were probably forgeries, but the contents were the actual way the Colonel felt about Bush. Killian's son, wife, and others said that the Colonel liked Bush and thought he was a good pilot. Understand she's a democratic and anti-Bush, so is it possible she could be involved in creating these documents? Just fruit for thought.
Purchased two copies of UFC and put them in circulation last month.

An apology does not cut it. It was fraud. It was forging government
documents, and possibly collusion between CBS and the Kerry campaign.
I sent an e-mail to the Texas Attorney General's office requesting consideration of whether an investigation would be forthcoming from their
end. In the state of Texas it is a felony to forge government documents.
There is also the authority of the National Guard to investigate whether
someone, and who that someone was, forged National Guard records, or
which branch of the Government, whether it be a branch of the Attorney
General's office would be the authority to investigate and prosecute.
This goes far beyond a smear, it was illegal and a felony and the person,
or persons, responsible should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law
as any ordinary citizen would if they were to forge government documents
in a conspiracy to bring false charges that the President disobeyed
a direct order. Justice needs to be served here. |

He got them from Lucy. She's the same one in Peanuts. _________________ '58 Airedale HMR(L)-261 VMO-2 |

I agree, someone needs to do time for this one. Seems like such a silly story for which to risk one's liberty. Even if the allegations are true and someone finds bona-fide evidence proving it...
WHO CARES?
Not me, or anyone I know. That a 25 year old could behave a bit irresponsibly is reason to not vote for him 35 years later? Also, no one seems to be reporting the fact that W did volunteer to go to Vietnam as was refused. How does that make him unfit for duty?
Now on the other hand collaborating with the enemy during wartime, slandering/libeling 2.5 million brother vets, lying in official AARs, milking the military medal system for personal gain....these are definately good reasons that Kerry is Unfit for Command, even if they were 30 years ago. And nary a word of remorse or apology from Hanoi John...
Case closed. No amount of ratherizing will rehabilitate Kerry's record, and if they try we'll just swift boat 'em. :>) _________________ Doug
