The following was from the guy who claims he can get our allies to help us.
Italians get Irish up over Kerry quip.

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry was trying to be funny when he quipped yesterday that the Iraqi army is so weak "even the Italians could kick their butts" - but prominent Italian-Americans weren't laughing.
State Auditor Joseph DeNucci lashed out at fellow Democrat Kerry, accusing him of a "degrading, disgusting" ethnic slur that plays into negative stereotypes.

Geeze, the premier apologist has his own PERSONAL apologist? Must be nice to be rich....
Well, hell yeah, the Italians could've whupped up on old Saddam.
Notice he did NOT say the French could. They haven't won a war since Napolean was emperor (and he wasn't even FRENCH!). _________________ USMC 69-72, 7th Comm, 3rd MarDiv, FMFPAC

Well, that does it!!!
I was undecided until I read that.
I think I can get my whole family to vote against this clown for this alone!

"Cipher" has an interesting point. Napoleon Bonaparte was born in Ajaccio on the island of Corsica in 1769, which had been under the control of the city-state of Genoa until 1768. Fortunately for the French, Genoa sold the island to France in 1768 to pay off a debt.
If it wasn't for the Genovese going broke, Napoleon would not have been French, and no one knows who would have brought law and order to France after the disastrous French Revolution, during which thousands of priests and nuns were killed. What would the history of the late 18th and early 19th century have been if Napoleon had been Genovese? _________________ The traitor will crater! |
