Has anyone seen John Kerry's DD214. His website doesn't claim he was discharged from the military honorably?? |

You're new here - welcome.
Candidate's Kerry's DD214s are available on HIS website.
The subject (his DD214s) has been much discussed on this forum.
Browse around a bit - you might also try the search function.
BTW, he received an honorable discharge in '78 - another topic much discussed here.

Officers don't serve an "enlistment". He received a DD214 when he left extended active duty (EAD) but he kept his commision. He did receive a discharge certificate when he/or the Navy resigned his commission in '78.
Again, this topic has been MUCH discussed here. Please use the search function so we don't start the discussion all over again. |

The first 214 on Kerry's website is when he left "enlisted" status to attend OCS. The second page is a 214N? I haven't been able to locate his discharge from the military! |

There are two files on his website: Acceptance_of_Discharge_Naval_Reserve.pdf
and
Honorable_Discharge_From_Reserve.pdf |

A couple days ago there was a post with a link, to I think it was captains quarters blog, about new Kerry documents.
They were disecting them looked like but I dont read other boards often, so I didnt try to follow along. I figured they would be discussed here too but I havn't seen anything else about it.
Am I missing a thread someplace or was it just nothing significant enouch to talk about or maybe i'm just loosing my mind? _________________ Deborah
