My husband found some copies of UFC in a local, urban bookstore today. He shuffled all 5 or 6 to a display near the front, covering a stack of Pompus Bull (I mean Bill Clinton's memoir).

Be covert and do the shuffle at a bookstore near you ... Mr. Green

UFC was in the front of Hasting and I think they are going to use all the excess copies of "My Life" for door stops.

BTW did any libs complain about the number trees Bill Clinton did in?

Funny a couple weeks ago went to a Borders and no copies of UFC visible..... so I asked and they were "sold out", more were coming, so I put my name on a waiting list and they told me within a week..... well after 2 weeks I was passing by again (I tend to stick to my little town and don't get to the Big City often, this is NH after all) so I stopped by again...... still no copies visible..... told them I was on the waiting list, hadn't recieved a call and asked if it had come in..... after about 10 mins of hemming and hawing they somehow "found" a copy..... so I asked why I wasn't called and why none were to be seen in the store..... lots of staring at the walls, eye rolling and..... no answer

Good news was they gave me 30% off to get me out of the store.... and they are probably happy I will never enter their door again

Hmmm, the Boarders store just up the road from me had it prominately displayed in the front of the store, and I bought it. Now just across the mall the Barn's and Noble store didn't have any and got huffy when I asked about it.....said their corporate order was cut from xxx,xxx to yy,yyy and it was all the fault of the publisher and distributor.....sounds strange to me...but what do I know about all this stuff?

My husband and I do the UFC shuffle every chance we get!

I've also been on a stealth campaign to artfully arrange copies of UFC next to other bestselling books...

For example, a copy of UFC right in the middle of a display of "My Life" books looks very appropriate! Cool
