Okay for any Democrat here -- or anyone who wants to speak for a friend who is a Democrat ---
Can anyone point to something in this campaign season coming from any Democrat (except Zell Miller and those supporting President Bush) that they support or that makes them proud.
All I have seen from the Democrats is vitrolic hatred of a sitting President of the United States ---- absolutely no comparison to things said about Clinton
Is there a "proud" Democrat out there or are you all ashamed of the current posturing of your party? |

I guess the answer is that there aren't any Democrats on this forum who are very proud of their party at this time.
I am sorry to see what has happened to the DNC this year. We need at least two strong parties in this country. Parties that differ on ideas, or methods rather than differ with each other.
All I have seen for the last 4 years in nothing but partisan stonewalling from the DNC because they lost the White House, the Congress, the Senate, and most state Governships and legislatures.
Maybe this party should examine why their policies and platforms are so distant from the majority of Americans. |
