I know that the sights on the RPG's used in the Middle East are made in France but does anyone know who actually makes the RPG's themselves?

Does anyone know if the most common one in the Middle East is the RPG-7?

Chief, I found a good discussion thread about RPG's. You'll have to register on the discussion board to get there, but it is worth it.
Here is the link:

http://www.china-defense.com/

When you get to the forum, click on:
Ground Forces Discussion
Then on:
Pinned: Ground Forces Discussion reference page

Scroll down to:
Light Arms

and click on:
Type 69 RPG

The Type 69 is the Chinese version of the RPG-7. There is a load of RPG related stuff there.
