Wasn't his father in the State Department? How much influence would his Daddy have had in arranging to get him into the Naval Academy? |

Doll, you will have to dig back a little, I was reading around a few weeks ago and found a story about his daddy Richard. There was only one other guy besides me that had read that post, it was kind of long winded. Trust me its worth every minute of reading, It will put you into the psych of what it takes to create a moron.
I think the name of the post was like "the apple doesnt fall far ...ect".
I think the author was Misty! If you find it let me know because I swear it is scary. _________________ MOPAR-BUYER |

I heard his dad was an "internationallists" believes in such as the "world court" "UN" etc ...kind of like Kerry. Not exactly America First. |

Kerry wouldn't have survived the USNA with his attitude. John O'Neill is a ringknocker, and you can't find a much wider disparity in integrity, honor, and truth than between those two men.
Kerry went to Yale. Now, what influence his dad may have had would have depended on if he was an alumnus and how many buildings and chairs were named after him.
My dad went to Yale, and my granddad, and several assorted other great uncles and so forth. All were contributors. And it was the PREMIER school for training CIA (which was one of the career paths I was considering). I *could* have gone, but the Marines needed me. And by the time they were done with me, I was beyond any desire to go to Yale in any case.
To get in the USNA, you have to have the sponsorship of a congressman, senator, president, or make the grade from within the Navy (or Marines). Or have a dad who was a recipient of the Medal of Honor. That's about the ONLY way you can get considered. _________________ USMC 69-72, 7th Comm, 3rd MarDiv, FMFPAC

I couldn't find that article, but I put a link to the one I did. Okay read, but it just proves what a jerk JK is and proves like father, like son.
