The discussion was about the authenticity of the Rassman rescue medals. I could not help but think Burkett was incredulous at Colmes questioning him. Burkett had this expression of I cannot believe this person is questioning the facts.

As such I had a novel thought. We need to have military people from that time question military people. Not a sniveling guy with no back bone like Colmes. I want to see some Military people who carry the torch for the Democratic Party come out and defend them.

I want them on the record. If the Democrats are right about this period in Americas past I want to have military people with their point of view coming out and carrying the damn torch. Not a damn anemic Colmes who wouldn't be fit to be a file clerk in the military interviewing our greatest.

Main Point - No military people are defending Kerry only talking heads. Think about it people. Our freedom is given to us by those that serve not the arm chair intellectually bankrupt quarterbacks.

Yeah I just watched that also. Burkett did fine. Colmes was trying to bait him and he just calmy replied. made his points he did fine. Made Colmes look like he has PTSD from taking incoming while trying to defend the indefensible Carrie. See this is what they want is to fluster some Vietnam Vet so he can look "damaged" by the war and thus unbelievable.

What kind of got my blood up was Sean. Why can't he just let his guest talk sometime. If the gues is a friendly just let them talk. Burkett has all kinds of stories of other people who have faked their war records. I had know idea that kind of thing happened until I read his book. He could have talked about Rathers fake documentary "The Wall Within". Sean if you are reading....let your guests talk sometimes.

The Carrie operative we need to target is Fox frequet guest bob beckell. This guy is really starting to piss me off.

I really like Hannity and he does really good on his radio show, but he is trying soo hard to be as good as Rush, rather then be himself. Hannity has talking points every night. I believe he hopes to be as big as Rush and is afraid to make mistakes. He needs to go out on a limb and be himself more on TV and not rely on talking points. Lets face it Limbaugh is the modern day king of talking off the cuff with logic.

"The only people that got preferential treatment was when Jimmy Carter pardoned those guys that went to Canada."

- Ed Morrissey, Jr.
Colonel, TANG, Retired

Col. Morrissey was the officer who swore in 2nd Lt. George W. Bush into the TANG in May, 1968.

His quote here is a response he made today, Sept. 25, in response to the no-tired question, "Did George Bush get preferential treatment?"

I'm guessing that Dan RaTHer won't be reporting on Col. Morrissey's statement.

I agree that Sean should let the guest speak, especially if the guest is friendly. My wife happened to be watching the other night and observed that he wouldn't let the guest finish. Other than that, he's great! (Re Colmes - I was taught "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything.")

PatS,

If any Democrats are "afraid" that Bin Laden might be captured before the election, it is solely because they are also "afraid" that said capture would destroy their chances at election.

They are trying to send up a "trial balloon" now, so that they can claim, in the event of any victory in the War on Terror, that they "predicted" it as simply a "partisan political scheme" by the Administration.

I.e. any success in the War on Terror between now and Nov. 2 is clearly a Republican ploy to skew the election. Rolling Eyes

I don't think that poster is a troll.

I also heard what she quoted above. They were discussing Terayza's recent comments about OBL, you know suspiciously turning up in October. There were two women pollsters and the one that represented the dems said the Terayza was saying something that the dems all fear...but I didn't catch the rest but I do remember thinking ...wow...they want to win so badly that they don't want OBL caught becuase it would make Bush look good. Maybe Sean said something like "We don't catch him and it's incompetence and if we do catch him it's a conspiracy." Weird world we are living in.

Also regarding Allawi. I heard some dopey democrat talking about how convenient it was that he showed up right before the election to help make Bush look good. I'm paraphrasing of course. But isn't he here for the UN Naitonal Congress (or whatever it's called) which happens every year at this time? As if Carl Rove planned it all out in advance decades ago. sheeeesh!

"trial balloon"

Scott, I agree with you, but how has our country come to a point where we have people seeking office and send out 'political balloons for position', during war. It really sickens my heart for my family that has paid the price, my family that will pay the price, and my family that will be taught to pay the price. Our family does this on trust that the people within government will be honest. When I see Kerry with his waffling for political gain while we have boys and girls in a war zone? I cannot help but be mad as hell. No matter what though I would always support our troops.

Keep in mind people. We are the most disciplined military the world has ever known. We have to support our CIC. But the beauty of our country is we can witness those leaders our troops love and those they hate. Make no mistake our troops hate John F. Kerry. And if you love our troops support them by voting for G.W. Bush.

I am honestly not a roll. I really couldn't believe that I heard her correctly and it was in response to the Theresa remark about Bin Laden's capture. I thought the woman said something to the effect of, 'that's what the Dem's were afraid of.'

I couldn't believe my ears, and that is why I asked if anyone else had heard it.
I live in Arizona and the show should be on again later tonight. I'll try to see it again and repost if I am mistaken.

It was Teresa Heinz Kerry who made a comment about, "It wouldn't surprise me if we 'suddenly' captured OBL in late October". Rolling Eyes

The analysts afterwards agreed that she was trying to 'deflate' any bounce that President Bush would get from such an event.

Very political and very un-American if you ask me!!

The reason I thought you were a possible troll is because John Kerry's wife is a communist. Lets face it she won her money with a man who loved her (a republican) and is using his money to promote her agenda after he died. She never loved her husband who gave her all that money. Media will never report her lack of character and honor. So sad.

I would just like to point out that IF we did capture the Weasel, Umm there would be no deflating it. It would be a major thing as far as events go, way way bigger than catching Saddam.

The only thing that Teizzza is deflating is her husbands election hopes. Very Happy

Has anyone considered the possiblity that Thereza changing her voter registration from Republican to Democrat was just a ruse? That she might actually BE a "closet Republican". (Deleted by Admin)
