Good Grief. No wonder she seems confused once in awhile... _________________ MSM Lead Nov 3 2004 "Kerry Oval Office Hopes killed by 10,000 Mice..."

Phew!
With a name like that she had better not brand her cattle!
I console myself with the thought that:
A person who marries for money EARNS EVERY DIME OF IT!
Kerry must be the hardest working man in AMERICA! hee hee
Make it a great day anyway!

We get very upset at the other side for pesonnal attacks.
Then why be like them and look like nutcases too.
That just reenforces their beliefs _________________ "Si vis pacem, para bellum" |

Sometimes we Americans do ourselves a disservice by showing how out of touch we are with other cultures. My Danish grandmother had a long list of names, a custom of the old country. We ought to remember that while we are the bearers of the torch of freedom, England and Europe provided the foundation for written law and separation of powers. Before that, Medeterranian countries established the concept of citizenship and individual freedom for citizens, while the Mideast gave us many of the tools for maintaining a free society like writing, translation of languages, and the concept of civilization as a society that operates through rules. All that we have today is the result of learning from those who came before. As Issac Newton said: "If I have seen farther than others, it's because I was standing on the sholders of giants." |

Personal attacks are absolutely ALWAYS out of limits, so "SHOVE IT, you ******* Idiots".
...Thank you for stopping by and posting, Mrs. Kerry. I thought this topic was for legitimately exposing the 1st-lady-wannabe, but I can see you beat me to it. _________________ Find the perfect babysitter, petsitter, or tutor -- today! |

I hope that my post was taken in fun only. I tease all of my friends with long names that they cannot be cattlemen and brand their stock.
I say only in half jest that people who marry for money earn it.
Sorry.
Make it a great day anyway.

So well put and something we all should keep in mind. I have been guilty of this myself. Thank you for the reminder! |

Well, I actually did mean the post as a bit of satire, and if someone requires an apology for that observation... tough.
Perhaps the more open minded of you will take the post as I intended- an expression of surprise on my part...I had never heard this dear lady's complete name. _________________ MSM Lead Nov 3 2004 "Kerry Oval Office Hopes killed by 10,000 Mice..."

Good points all around. When we lose our sense of humor, we lose a key ingredient of our identity. There is a difference between childish, ad hominem attacks and legitimate satire, and I will take the word of the originator as to the intent of the topic. Keep in mind that Mrs. Kerry has opened herself to criticism by her words and actions, which often cross the line. Nevertheless, there is plenty of margin above that line for us to poke fun in reply to her vitriol. _________________ Find the perfect babysitter, petsitter, or tutor -- today! |
