I've about had it with our "GOOD" neighbors to the North.
They are going to build a statue for the draft dogers in Nelson, BC.
Here's there email address if you feel the need to express you
feelings with them.

What would you expect from Europe's biggest colony here in North America??? Their government is a disaster. Their economy would have to rise just to be IN the toilet. Because of their PC mentality, they've become an easy mark AND a haven for every tin pot terrorist organization in the world. In one way they are like us.....
All their idiots are on either coast and the smart people are in between. _________________ ADC USN Ret.

I really have mixed feelings about our neighbor to the north.
I know their history in WWI, WWII, Korea, etc. They lost a lot
of fine men in all those wars and were our allies. They
actually entered some of these wars before we did. However,
that´s history.
There are a lot of Canadian vets who are very unhappy with their
country right now. The Liberal Party runs things and have let
the Canadian military go to the dogs. There are also a lot
of Canadians who disagree with their government and felt Canada
should have supported the US and sent troops to Iraq...but didn´t.
The town in BC is one town in one province, which does not make
a country, however, it is very disappointing that they are allowing
a monument to war protesters. However, this is the decision of
the town.
(To all Canada bashers, please remember the Canadians gave
blood, money and manpower to New York after 9/11/2001. They
also accepted hundreds of aircraft on that day on their soil, not
knowing who were on those planes. They sit together with
us in Cheyenne Mountain complex. They have also sent some
aircraft and some ships over to search vessels, etc.).
On the otherhand, the country is doing little to prevent terrorists
from coming in, doing little to help us on fighting terrorism and
often their politicians stab us in the back when they speak in public.
Many in the province of Quebec were actually against our troops
and were cheering for Saddam...not to mention booing our national
anthem at hockey games.
With all that said, there are worse ¨allies¨ in the world then
Canada, who provided arms (and are still helping our enemy) in Iraq.

Anyone in this forum who grew up in a border state (I was raised 4 blocks from Canada in Sault Ste Marie Michigan) has another bone to pick with the Kanuks.
I cant count the number of pool games, the number of pinball games, The cold softdrinks or cigarrettes the Kanuks owe us.
Their damned elk head quarters ruined my childhood and adolecent years. The would come down from the north and jam up every vending machine they could.
I say its time to get even - eh?

Does this mean that we should also boycott American (GM, Ford, Daimler-Chrysler) SUV's with American nameplates? That's over 1/3 of the American nameplate SUV's. It might reduce our Arab oil imports.
While we are talking about Arab oil imports (and that is who subsidizes international terror - payoffs and "protection" from the Arab oil shieks to the terrorists) - we import about 15% of our oil from Canada.
Maybe if we boycott Canadian SUV's - we can boycoitt Canadian oil.
On the subject of Canadian oil ---- (once we closed our US "synthetic gasoline" labs (in the synthetic oil corridor from State College PA to Frankfort KY) and the only "real player" went back to cresote for wooden utility poles and for railroad ties) ----- the center of research, development, engineering, and recovery and manufacturing (refining) of tar sands oil, oil shale, and even sythane from coal --- all moved to Canada.
Meanwhile we kiss the Saudi royal ring and kiss the Saudi royal butt - and pay almost $50/barrel for Saudi oil (where the "skim" goes to binLaden.
GET REAL
NO - I am not from TX. NO - I never worked in the OIL industry. NO - I never went to school in TX. (But my first CO was an M&M graduate, an "Aggie" - and a truly fine man)
YES - I am a Pig Boat Nuclear Veteran - and like a Pig Boat Sailor - I am a PhD engineer in the non-fossil fuel energy industry.
YES - I am proud that I worked for Halliburton's nuclear power operation. |

John Kerry--he should have been a Canadian
by Arthur Weinreb, Associate Editor, Canada Free Press
August 27, 2004
John Kerry was born in the wrong country; he would be much more at home in Canada than in the United States. He possesses a quality that the majority of Canadians have; that distinguishes us from all other peoples on earth. It’s what unites Canadians from coast to coast to coast.
Canadians love to whine, and John F. Kerry is a whiner. This became absolutely apparent after he brought legal action against the Swift Boats Veterans who ran a negative attack ad pointing out that he may not be quite the military hero that he claims to be. As noted talk show host, Rush Limbaugh has said, George W. Bush has been subject to hatred since he came into office--and he takes it quietly. Kerry on the other hand, whines and moans after one negative ad is aired and goes running to the Federal Elections Commission with a gaggle of lawyers....
Throughout the election campaign, John Kerry has shown that he would fit right in up in the Great White North. He would make a great advisor to Prime Minister Paul Martin. Since both men love to take both sides of each and every issue, they would be in constant agreement (or constant disagreement) on everything. You couldn’t ask for much more than that.
Kerry would also make a great Foreign Affairs Minister. Who better than Kerry to run down to New York and take marching orders from Kofi Annan at the U.N. (Useless Nothings)? John would have a ball getting approval of the French and the Germans for whatever stand Canada is told to take.
Kerry’s views on the military are consistent with the much touted "Canadian values". Only in Canada can you be a war hero and a peace activist at the same time. And Kerry’s testimony in the early 70s that American soldiers, including him, did nothing in Vietnam except rape, plunder and murder innocent civilians is just about how the Canadian elites view the American armed forces.
Kerry included himself in a military that commits war crimes. John would be pleased to know that Canada is a country that not only takes steps to keep war criminals out--we welcome them here with open arms.
There is no doubt about it — John Kerry would make an excellent Canadian. _________________ Find the perfect babysitter, petsitter, or tutor -- today! |

Let us not forget that it is only one community building this memorial, not all of Canada. We also have several Canadians here in support of the SBVT efforts who also would like to rescue their country from liberals.
That being said, I'm locking this and moving it off to Geedunk. _________________ Clark County Conservative |
