He is such a BS ******* that is EVERYTHING he claims he isnt.
1) He is a sellout.
2) He is PART OF THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA
3) He is an RICH Elistist.
4) He is a EGO manaic.
5) He is dishonest.
That is he CORE -- He has become the very thing he falsely rails against.
He is a frauld and I won't watch or listen to his program (radio and TV) anymore. Above all, he is just about BILL nothing else, and he is a FRAUD. |

Before he trashed the Swifties, he said that Rush was an "entertainer"
and should not be used as the primary source for news. When Mike
Wallace came back with the query, "Aren't you an entertainer?", BOR
said that HE was a journalist. He did say that he admired Rush because
of his success, but gave the impression that he (BOR) was much more
reliable to use as a source of news.
I thought the piece made him look pretty bad because it had several clips
of him telling guests (including a Boy Scout) to "Shut up", something my
mother taught me is very rude to say to anyone, much less on television! _________________ Susan R. Morton |

You will NEVER hear BOR say something posiitve about ANYONE other then BOR. He repeats his SHOTS at Rush and others all the time on his radio, he calls them right wing bomb throwers.
A perceptive listener will see through his "bs", it will take time but I think his core audience is starting to see his bs, he as made a DECISION to increase his audience furhter, he needs to appear "independent" which I think is turning off his core audience.
He doesn't seem to have a foundation other then praising himself. |

BOR's got the money, now he just wants to be invited to the MSM cocktail parties.
Fox needs to revamp their primetime lineup. BOR is awful, as is Greta. Greta is just boring. I'm confident if Fox hired Joe Scarborough and put him in at the 8pm ET slot, he'd do better than BOR. And someone else could do better than Greta. Other than H&C, Fox News PT sucks. |

Here is the transcript of the comment about the SwiftVets and what led up to it.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/23/60minutes/main645202.shtml
Quote: | As for the president, O'Reilly says he hasn’t made up his mind yet.
"You're going to vote for George W. Bush," asks Wallace. "Oh, yeah," says O'Reilly.
"You think he's a great president, right," says Wallace. "Wrong," says O’Reilly. "I'm one of those Independent, man. I'm open to be persuaded right away. I've known Kerry for 25 years. He's a patriot. I'm listening to what he has to say."
What does he think about the men from the swift boats who have been bad-mouthing Kerry?
"Awful. It's terrible," says O'Reilly. "It makes me sad that this happens." |
If you click on the link it shows the whole transcript and the Rush comments he made as well. |

HE EVEN PRAISES KERRY -- SEE BELOW EXCEPT OF INTERVIEW
As for the president, O'Reilly says he hasn’t made up his mind yet.
"It makes me sad that this happens."
And one more surprise. He doesn't consider himself part of what he calls "right-wing radio."
What does he think of talk show host Rush Limbaugh?
"I respect Limbaugh for basically making a success out of himself and putting on an entertaining program. But he's not a primary source of information, or shouldn't be," says O'Reilly. "He's an entertainer. I'm a journalist who provides a program that is entertaining."

I wonder if BORing can reconcile the following:
Quote: | What does he think about the men from the swift boats who have been bad-mouthing Kerry?
"Awful. It's terrible," says O'Reilly. "It makes me sad that this happens." |
and
Quote: | On Tim Russert's cable show last summer, O'Reilly was paired with The New York Times columnist Paul Krugman.
O'Reilly: You are in with the most vile form of defamation in the country. … You are pandering to it, and I resent it, sir. |
Dare I say a radio "Jenn Jiss Khan?"
What does he think HE is doing to the Swiftees?
Maybe his own quote answers the question:
Quote: | "I'll never win any awards for stuff I'm doing now," says O'Reilly. "Because the intelligentsia who distributes the awards thinks that I'm misguided. I'm a barbarian. I am a Hun." |

There is more here than meets the eye, "bor" little letters intended,
has a "project" going on here, lets make a list and try to make some
"sense' of what his goal may be.????
1. He is trying to divert attention from Kerrys faults to himself, to
help kerr, "I wish there were even smaller letters", several times
he has used these words "i have known "john for years" that being
the case, is there some chance that Kerry during his "wild oat" time
referanced by the guy from the "Jarkata Times" who says Kerry did
something very "naughty" while in "high office" , would that time
25 years ago be the time when Kerry was "atty gen. of mass",
?possible he covered up a DWI or something for "bor".
2. He is to get some big wig job if he does this, for it is most likley the
end of his "rateings" because they are all based on "our view he is
honest" if proven not as is happening he will not be able to hold on,
so he is falling on his "pin knife " for the "cause of getting a big wig
job" its his "I was born poor phys" problem, he wants to "prove'
himself equal to the "other msm ones" feelings of 'I'm not good enough
3. others add and lets disscuss and when he gets mad on his show about
this site talking about him we will know we have the correct line.
Then zero in on him, with more off the record stuff by others, like
the big time blogers, captins quaters, ect. He hates them more than
we "slowboaters". _________________ the strange mr aj

It's telling that he should identify with known perpetrators of atrocities and crimes against humanity.... No wonder he's a Kerry fan, he found a soulmate! _________________ USMC 69-72, 7th Comm, 3rd MarDiv, FMFPAC

You know how O'reilly is always calling for a boycott of this or that....well....what's good for the goose.....I didn't see Sixty Minutes but I saw a clip the other day on Fox...he was slobbering all over Mike Wallace..........there really won't be any collateral damage if large amounts of Bills audience tune him out....I mean the only person it will hurt is Bill...the staff and tech guys will find other shows to work on within the fox network.......I call for a boycott. Who's with me? |

I emailed BillOReilly.com--
On 60 Minutes you were asked what you thought about the men from the swift boats who have been bad-mouthing Kerry, and you replied: "Awful. It's terrible … it makes me sad that this happens."
Say what? From all I’ve seen and read, the SBVT are honorable and honest. They’ve certainly earned the right to exercise their free speech.
What’s awful and sad is Kerry gaming the system to get five medals in four months and then, back in the U.S., falsely accusing his fellow vets of “all kinds of atrocities,” claiming that he himself committed the “same kind of atrocities,” and throwing his medals/ribbons away—and now, in 2004, he tells us that his four months of atrocities and his reclaimed medals now qualify him to be CIC.
Come on Bill … or are you just going overboard to be “fair,” so that Kerry will agree to come on your show? Good luck. |
