If it's true and Drudge wasn't fed a line, it's good news.

However, this belongs over in Geedunk, so I'm moving it.

No problem, Sean. Let's just hope Drudge is right and our media starts a turn around.

Hey, I can hope, can't I? Rolling Eyes Wink

Why are they waiting until Spring? So it won't look like he's getting the ax?

To even let Rather report on political or election news is a fraud. The sooner he is off the air the better..however, on election night I would love to see his face when Bush wins..that will be priceless...

Hmmm, I guess that in journalism (at least as the MSM practices it), the "burial" of the career precedes the retirement.

Don't suppose they'd consider 11 November spring, do you?

A Veteran's Day retirement for "Danny Boy" - that would be apropos.

NOT EVEN CLOSE to soon enough, in my book. He needs to get the boot, ASAP. And until that "investigation" is complete, he should be on administrative leave or something.

Maybe they're holding off till Spring hoping Kerry wins and he will give Rather a job in his administration so Rather doesn't suffer an interruption in his employment history with the Democrats...pension issues, you know. Rolling Eyes

...Minister of Propaganda? Shocked

I don't think this is a rumor. I heard it on Fox this morning. They said that CBS claims that they need the time to adequately train his replecement.

I’m guessing Rather’s replacement will be BOR (the only “training” needed will be teaching BOR not to point and scream) … which works well for most of us, allowing us to carry on our CBS boycott.

The link in the Drudge Report goes to a NYT article, so it must be gospel! What's their slogan--All the News That's Fit to Print, or some nonsense such as this? A slogan for RAthER should be 'All the News That's Fit to Forge.' Rolling Eyes
