For just a moment, I thought we had our October surprise a few days early. Al Arabiya was reporting that Zawahiri, bin Laden's number 2, had been captured.
Unfortunately, the Pakistani's have denied the claim. Damn! |

Alas, it's probably not true. I haven't heard Rush mention it, Drudge hasn't linked, and the cable guys haven't run with it. Remember, last spring Foxnews ran with a story that Zawahiri had been killed. I guess if it sounds to good too be true, then it is too good to be true.

It probably is true -- and the JP jumped the gun -- heard the rumor through the Mossad connections and did not keep it under wraps.
I suspect that any capture alive will be kept quiet while the various intelligence agencies around the world are able to dismantle the structure. If it is known the #2 is captured then the scum rats burn their tracks and sink into the slime from whence they came.
JP equivalent of our loud mouth liberal commie MSM creating problems for the intelligence community.
When these guys are capture alive it does need to be kept quiet so the rest of the rats can be rounded up. |

If we were to capture him it would not just be big news and a big blow to Al Qadia, but it would also be very bad news to Osama in a very personal nature.
You see Ayman al-Zawahri is also Osama’s personal physician (correct me if I’m wrong). And Osama has some health issues like Diabetes that needs to be treated, amongst other things. If he were to loose his only method of getting private treatment he might just have to take a risk and poke his head up somewhere.
O course I realize that he can send someone else in to get his medications for him, but you have to admit it would cause him great discomfort even still
