Yes...it's a one-way street. Honor what Kerry did before age 40, except for the activity that was heinous and repulsive, in which case, just forget about it.

I agree wholeheartedly with you. Some things are unforgivable and Kerry's actions fall into that category. Has anyone ever forgotten Benedict Arnold?
Sam Donaldson is just another MSM hack. It gets so dreary listening to these people speak like programmed robots over and over. It's mind numbing.

I guess Donaldson would have to say that Jayson Blair should be eligible to cover the news for the NYT after he turns 40. Surely they're not going to hold his youthful lying, cheating and shirking against him, are they?

Are they letting everyone in prison for a crime commited before they turned 40 out of prison now when they do turn 40?

Benedict Arnold was 38 or 39 when he agreed to surrender West Point to the British. Using Sam Donaldson's reasoning, he could have surrendered the fort then waited about a year for his 40th birthday then asked Gen. Washington for a new assignment because his last billet was no longer operational.

I listened to that interview as well and Sam came across as an "old school" democrat and frankly, without saying so, definitely made the point that Kerry has to get his poopie in one sock or he's history.
Shoot, at one point I thought Donaldson was a closet republican but he did show his loyalty to the dems in a couple of remarks.
Bottom line: I do believe that Mr. Donaldson will probably vote for Bush - he has some pretty good things to say about him which totally floored me.
Did he take a swipe at SBVT? Yep. Not surprising since I have the strong feeling he has not done any research on the issues and is relying on MSM reporting.

I think Donaldson's big 'ol ranch is down thar(tx accent?) in Texas - I'm sure he doesn't want any terrorists taking over and turning it into a training camp!

I think the reasoning behind all this smear against the swifties is. 1. MSM realizes that the swifties are taking down their number 1 guy, with the truth, and facts. 2. Which may be the most important, is MSM has lost total control of there monopoly. Which means they arent they only way people get whats going on, so they cant come up with jsut anything anymore. Way to go swifties
