Even though one has to be careful how much weight we place on polls, the fact is that Kerry has been sinking for over a month. On the other hand, the president's numbers have been moving up even with all of the hits he's been taking. That's significant.

Another indicator of how effective presenting this despicable aspect of
Kerry's lack of qualifications will be, and how troubling it is to the Democrats,
was the "teaser" on CNN about George Soros' book and his upcoming
featured interview on this {biased} network.
Soros indicated that the purpose of his book is to counter the malicious
attacks indicating that meeting with an enemy during a time of war and
presenting their point of view was unpatriotic (?)
Gee ... I wonder who he was talking about?
Oh ... and BTW. I do not seem to remember CNN interviewing either
John O'Neill or Jerome Corsi when Unfit for Command came out.

Brit Hume and Major Garrett just dissected this poll and Susan Estrich was forced to admit that when the history of these 527's is written, it will not be a matter of how much they spent, but how big was their impact.
She opined that the Swifts were the DEFINITE winners!

Ooops, forgot to add - catch the repeat of Brit Hume tonight on Fox - the first ten minutes after 8pm Eastern.
Oh and Major Garrett also said that $7 million has been raised and they have about $2 million left - the ad coming out next week will demonstrate that Kerry's actions had a terrible effect on POW's - as told by the wives of those POW's! _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Swiftvets have done a fantasic job. Keep it up right until the election. I would even like to see the ads carried up to the afternoon of 11-02-04. The new ad that was discussd today on FOX should be awesome and show Hanoi Johnny for what he really is, can't wait to see it. Sending another donation tomorrow. _________________ Viet Nam vet and PROUD! |

A couple of other effective visuals--the helicopter airlift when we left Vietnam, and scenes of boat people in rickety boats trying to flee.
Not too hard to imagine similar distress for Iraqis if we left in haste. _________________ It's downright brilliant the way he's reserving his devastating intellect to spring it on us at exactly the right moment. |

Yes! Seeing that gravelly voiced screaming meemie, last viewed yelling at
Van Odell that he "was not on Kerry's boat," as she was out of character in
eating humble pie by admiting that the Swift Vets did more with less than
even multi-billionaire George Soros just absolutely made my day!
Are you surprised that I noted her exact words for posterity?
Quote: |
When the history is written about the 527 groups, even though the Democrats
may have out raised the Republicans in 527 money, the real measure will be
"Which group changed the dynamic?" And there the Swift Vets beat everybody
|
Now if we can just get her to admit that 60,000 people contributing over
seven million dollars to bring the truth to the American Public is neither
Republican or Democratic party oriented, then the real importance of this
effort will finally be recognized.
First Inch by Inch and Foot by Foot
then Yard by Yard and finally Mile by Mile
The truth will be HEARD all over America
PS Most regrettable quote this year. Associated Press on May 5 as to why no mention was made
... of the initial Swift Boat News Conference: "They contribute nothing to the presidential debate"

Is there any mention in Ad #7 about Kerry's 1971 prediction that the US could withdraw from Vietnam with only 3000 casualties, and the Senator's upward revision (when Kerry testified) to 800,000? That would also show that Kerry's judgment about withdrawal was flawed then, and imply that it could be flawed now (about Iraq). _________________ The traitor will crater! |

If he is behind in the polls after the debates, and after the debates about the debates, the Democrats will spend money on contested congressional races instead of the presidential campaign. Look for the Soros groups, if that happens, to pour money into keeping Bush's margin low so they claim he is illegitimate.
So this is no time to let down anyone's guard. As a matter of fact, the next 14 or so days are the time to pile on and finish this turkey off. Otherwise, he will continue to slither around until early November. I want to see a Kerry in Paris commercial as much as possible in my swing state. I can tell you this has drawn blood even among moderate Democrats in my district who question Kerry's integrity and character now, something those of us who have known him always did. |
I'm in Ohio and saw the ad only for the first day or two it came out. I am disabled and have the tv on all the time. Have they quit showing it in my area?

Kimberly, if Ohio is wrapped up, the ad will probably be shown more in the battleground states. jmho |
