(credit Sondrak.com for this gem)

My money says Riley has it right and pasty face doesn't
even know the pledge, let alone which hand goes where.
Rolling Eyes

Eighth grader Riley Hopkins (R) leads Democratic presidential nominee
John Kerry and the rest of the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance at a
town hall meeting campaign stop in Spring Green, Wisconsin
September 27, 2004. Senator Kerry will spend several days in
Wisconsin preparing for his first debate with U.S. President George W. Bush
in Miami, Florida September 30. REUTERS/Brian Snyder

...my conscience made me edit to add this note so nobody would overreact.
....yes, it's been altered, but it just goes to show that to get anything
correct about Kerry, you have to flip whatever position he takes. Very Happy

but is this one faked or real?

Maybe he thought the orange would appeal to the Florida voters:

Orange is one of the Florida Gator colors
Orange is one of the Miami Hurricane colors
(Not sure what he'll do to attract the FSU fans - wear a large Garnet earring and a Gold tooth to the debate maybe?)
And of course, Orange is the color of ORANGES!

You know his "friend" Bill Burkett is a rancher so he's probably experienced at branding. I'm sure Kerry can just drop by the ranch and he'll be happy to brand "Sunkist" on his forhead. He's been wanting to help Kerry out but failed miserably in the memo department.

Or maybe Kerry needs to hire that comedian Carrot Top to take over for Carville.....just in keeping with the orange theme and all. Think anybody will know the difference? Rolling Eyes

Agent Orange sez: "I actually voted FOR Coppertone, before I voted AGAINST it."

But seriously folks, George Hamilton and Zonker Harris have a big following in Florida and Ohio. John "Burnt Sienna" Kerry is going directly after the People of Color vote. Not that there's anything phony about a guy who speaks like Kate Hepburn in "On Golden Pond" saying his opponent is "out of touch."

Every time I see Kerry I want to ask him "John, why the long face?" Laughing

Newsflash:

John "Burnt Sienna" Kerry and John "Silky Poodle" Edwards will be making a whirlwind "Orange Spice" tour of sunny Florida later in the week. Talking from the back of their "pumpkinmobile" in route to the event, Kerry was heard saying "I did not have sex with that marmalade". ...this was, of course, after he had said he DID have sex wit the marmalady....uh marmalade. ....ORANGE marmalade.

Update at 10.

Knock Knock
Who's there?
Orange.
Orange who?
Orange you glad I voted for Bush?

Hey it could be that Massachusettes sun. Look at the reddish glow it gives Ted Kennedy's nose.

I pleadge allegiance to Botox
for the wrinkle relief it gives me
and to the tanning salon
from which comes this glow
Sunkist orange with extra highlights
and Grecian Formula 16 for us all
