Kerry states he's going to shut down our nuclear program?
And that Bush cut spending on nuclear proliferation?
Bush is right on - WMD in the hands of terrorists is our #1 threat to security - NOT nuclear proliferation as Kerry insists.

| We might like to see Kerry on the defensive but to do so Bush must attack and that would be a mistake. |

He expects to double the size of special forces just as he expects to train soliders faster in iraq.
To me nothing ever got better by doing training faster. Training has to be effecient, effective and instilled in the soldier to become reflex action, no second guessing.

The uniformed public doesn't know he's flip flopping and lying because MSM hasn't made that information available.
And Kerry seems like he's a polished debator to someone who doesn't know the facts.
The kids are getting upset because I keep yelling at the tv  Kerry's lying, lying, lying.

Terrorists who uses the nuclear weapons against us, I dont recall the last time a nuclear bomb came walking cross our borders with intention to attack us. They are only used when a terrorists decide to use them against us or human kind.

I hate to say it, but I think Peter is right. Gotta remember that "we" know alot better, but the average joe that hasn't been paying much attention doesn't know all the stuff we do.
I get the feeling that George has been defending a bit more than attacking, and that worries me. He should be going for the throat.

| Bush is doing fine - don't sweat it. Kerry is a much more polished performer and speaker but that is all. On substance Bush won easily. |

It takes FIVE years to grow a Green Beret, SEAL or Marine Recon. And they are BEST grown in the crucible of war. Trust me, they are being made as we speak.
But they won't be cooked for another couple years.... |
I agree Cipher, but to say he "will dounle the size" is extremely unlikely. As you point out it takes years. Kerry trying to insinuate a "quick fix" is beyond simply misleading.
