Is Kerry a bit more smooth? Sure. But Bush comes across as more of a regular guy. Who would you rather have a beer with? _________________ Whose side is John Kerry really on? Take this quiz and decide for yourself.

It might be obvious to the SBVT that Kerry is lying, but he does sound convincing to the uninitiated. I'm not sure Bush has picked Kerry's lies apart enough, and some people might be convinced by them, because they don't know Kerry's history. Maybe some more ads are needed... _________________ The traitor will crater! |

Who is winning? I think Kerry is doing very well. |
I hate to say it, but I think Peter is right. |
I think what Kerry is doing well is spouting platitudes -- "we should have done this instead of that, we need to spend here instead of there," but giving specifics of nothing.
So those who accept platitudes as a plan may think he's doing well. I do believe, however, that more and more people see that he flaps with the wind and I really believe that before it's all over he's going to go postal. |

Yup, he said that we should have cow towed to the U.N and allowed them to sit on the butts and do nothing. Which coincidently is exactly what Saddam was banking on. As was pointed out earlier in the debate, Saddam had the capability to restart his programs as soon as the U.N. was gone, and he damned well would have. _________________ U.S. Army 1983-1995, 11C1P/11H2P NBTDT |

I know - even an inexperienced liar is quite capable of deceiving those that want to believe. |

Wrap-up statements: Kerry playing on heartstrings without facts. Here we go, Vietnam again. More multilateralism. Secret plan on Iraq. Secret plan on winning the war on terror thru multilateralism. Tag line from the DNC convention. What a load of BS!
Bush: We need to have resolve. We need to strengthen our defenses, esp the "all volunteer" military. Fight the bad guys out there, not here. Do what we need to do. Free Iraq in our interests, same with Afghanistan. Carry the flame of liberty high. Keep up the hard work, and prevail. Right on!! I'm very proud of the President tonight. God Bless America!! |
