Hitler was a smooth talker and see what happened with that.

Anyone knows its much easier to spit out lies and a story than it is to tell the heart felt truth.

Media said Kerry hasnt spoken about his plan about Iraq but didnt say what it is

There have been no major fumbles or knock out punches by either. This is bad news for Kerry because he needed a decisive win.

I don't see where he got it. This may even go down as a loss for him.

Bush stayed on the message that Kerry is a flip flopper and that we must be firm and resolute.

Rassmussen reported earlier today:

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Electoral%20College%20Projection.htm

Quote:
September 30, 2004--The latest Rasmussen Reports Electoral College projection shows George W. Bush with 213 Electoral Votes and John Kerry with 169. There are now twelve states with 156 Electoral Votes in the Toss-Up category.

Today's change is the result of moving Michigan from Leans Kerry to Toss-Up. This is the third straight day a Kerry state has shifted to Toss-Up status (New Jersey and Maryland were the other two states). Generally speaking, any state where the candidate leads by less than five points is considered a Toss-Up.

The 213 Electoral Votes projected for Bush matches his highest total of the year. He has been at this level since the Republican National Convention.

For Kerry, the total of 169 Electoral Votes is his lowest total of Election 2004. Kerry was constantly in the lead and consistently above 200 projected Electoral Votes until mid-August. Kerry fell behind Bush in the Electoral College count during the weekend leading up to the Republican National Convention.

He really needed a big win.

I think Kerry had a better performance overall, just in terms of sounding good. I also think he shot himself in the foot with his "I have never wavered in my position on Iraq" comment. Everybody knows he's changed positions multiple times, and that comment just cast doubt on everything else he had to say.

The debate ended only a few minutes ago, and predictably, the media is favoring Kerry's performance. Rolling Eyes

Jeff Greenfield on CNN: "The question is, was John Kerry able to connect tonight? I think the answer is yes."

I havn't read all the posts on this yet so forgive me if I'm repeating a point made but something struck me is that Kerry kept giving specifics about the strength of our armed forces and where they were located. Is this supposed to be public knowledge? It doesnt' seem too wise to me for the world to know exactly what our military capacities are.

The only channel that passes the gag reflex with regard to the Monday-morning quarterbacking is Fox.

Stay away from those alphabet channels - proven Kerry shills, all of them. Wink
