Even Fox seems to be thrashing the President. Joe Scarboro said Kerry won.

Did he really say that he visited Treblinka, home of the feared KGB?

Lubyanka was home of the KGB, Treblinka was a concentration camp.

Kerry kept giving specifics about the strength of our armed forces and where they were located. Is this supposed to be public knowledge? It doesnt' seem too wise to me for the world to know exactly what our military capacities are.

It's very public knowledge.

Reporters look at things the average person cares nothing about. Kerry looked like a robot just spitting out talking points. He had no emotion.Bush had real feelings.

just talked to some friends of mine who are either undecided or independents, and all of them agreed that the debate was at the most a tie for Kerry. Certainly, this is bad news for him given that he needed a homerun.

MY NOTES: If anyone wants to use anything I write here use as if your own. These are just my point by point notes as I watched. Sorry for the poor grammar and such. Maybe someone will gleam a jewel from them.

Kerry sounds like he is gasping for air after each time he says something
first question can Kerry do better job on fight against terror he said nothing just he can do better
Bush answer rebuttal is a point by point what he has done Taliban Iraq so forth

Bush response on a united nations resolution must act on said resolution really good
moderator asks about Kerry's statement we went to Iraq and diverted from Afghanistan and bush response we have the capability to do both this is global and we will be all over

Kerry keeps fidgeting moving his feet

Kerry accuses bush of not spending enough on homeland security and bush responds by saying not sure where he's going to get the money for his promises then lists all the major spending increases bush admin has made good tactical point

Bush keeps saying stay on offense good point

my lord Bush is prepped number numbers keeps saying number Kerry is still saying I'm better I'm better diatribe from Kerry facts from bush

LOL Kerry says my message to the troops is thank you but also help is on the way and sounded so fake unreal

Bush brings up wrong war wrong place wrong time for third time good point and Kerry responds by saying he made mistake by what he said about war but bush made mistake by going to war a great point in showing that Kerry has no principles no core principles

visual note: Kerry's suit looks like the arms were made to make him look like he has muscle where he doesn't

Kerry continues to shake

Bush is calm

Bush: that is totally absurd in response to no allies good point elaborates by stating allies

brings up wrong war wrong place wrong time for fourth time good point bah said it fifth time hehe
Bush nailing him on that salient point

Kerry says 3 countries is not a grand coalition Bush responds 30 countries is a great alliance good rebuttal

Bush stamps podium with his hand as if a hammer while Kerry continues to move his hands in air good contrast

Kerry makes point he has respect for British and Blair....BUT then states how much we carry the burden...I suppose Britain in Kerrys mind has paid no price

Kerry continues to look goofy in his 'Manhattan muscle Armani suit' This is what happens when you have a woman who thinks she knows everything about style dress you and not go with the classical tailored look

Bush retorts OBL does not determine how America protects ourselves great rebuttal by Bush
Bush continues to push the CIC does not waver and flip flop in decisions...love It

Kerry at minute 48 is now in defense mode

Kerry saying Bush chose wrong way

Bush replies his opponent changes positions constantly and you cannot win when you cannot stay the course great re-attack by CIC

Bush continues to be resolute in the way we fight terror

Currently talking about the sacrifice of our soldiers and their families and how it means something

Kerry responds for third time he knows what it means to lose people in combat

WOW...WHERE DID KERRY EVER LOSE SOMEONE NEXT TO HIM IN WAR?

If it happened I haven't heard of it...I heard he lost a friend in Vietnam but not someone serving with him

WHO Kerry did you lose that you served with while in war I am sure their are some swiftboat vets who lost people they served with yet I do not think you did

Bush blasts back to Kerry you cannot win a war on terror if you keep changing your positions

good point yet again

Kerry obsfucating on the timeline for withdrawal for troops and his previous statements on it... give me a break

Bush makes point 100k police trained in Iraq...also Points out Kerry said Awali was nothing but a puppet

Kerry is shifting feet again

Bush is still calm

Kerry continues his I can do better and Bush responds with cognent statement on freedom of people and the Iraqi dilemma

Bush is making good points and Kerry is well he's Kerry

Bush comes across as caring for America and the rest of the world and Kerry comes across and someone who's can do better but has not said a single thing he would do to accomplish this

Bush continues to state facts

Kerry continues to obsfucate

Kerry brings up Hussein did not attack us and shows how clueless he is to the fact the war is global and encompasses many countries

Bush just gave his Texan Snear Boohahh then the Grin Sealed and delivered His response was Saddam was threat and Kerry is now trying to say other people such as north Korea are more dangerous and he would demand a better choice as in what Kerry?

Not Kerry he's doing nothing more then obsfucate

Kerry says something should pass the global test? I beg to differ our actions should pass our test.

Kerry keeps talking about how we are looked at in the world view. Someone should explain to him we are the world view. Sudan does not look to Sudan for humanity it looks to America.

DAMN

DAMN

Bush just answered my point he said GLOBAL TEST? I will do what protects the American people and then he goes onto the international criminal court and how he will not join it and how he doesn't trust the world bodies for our peoples state

he points out Kerry is for the international court good point bush you rocked on that one

Bush brings up the fact he's gotten China, Japan, and Russia to put pressure on north Korea...great point!

Kerry responds about info on North Korea about their nuclear program and all I can think is Clinton gave them that stuff

Give me a break

Kerry wants Bilateral talks

HAHA Bush responds the moment we have Bilateral talks will be when the 6 nation talks dissolve...damn BUSH beating him big on points

Bush on Africa ...problems he inherited and he does want to do something...good point he will after election

Bush response Kerry has no core changes positions constantly and cannot lead that way. it send wrong message to troops allies and people at home

Kerry response not sure what it is a drip to Bush and his inability to make himself human....oh he is certain now...Kerry is certain he can take new facts and lead when new facts come. WHAT? Stem cell research? Where did that come from Kerry?

Oh Kerry just stated he would never waver in his life....I doubt that based on his every action

Kerry asked what is greatest threat to US. He responds nuclear proliferation. LOL well Clinton shouldn't have given north Korea the nuclear ability and china the ability to launch 3-stage rockets(aka ICBMS). damn this Kerry is dangerous as hell

waiting on Bush response

Bush agrees...makes point SDI which dems hate Bush took while to get to this point first poor point Bush made but yet again hes right

Bush brings up bilateral talks will not work....hoowah love it bush good rebuttal

last question

Putin did you misjudge him to Bush

Bush responds how he disagrees with Putin hard tough resolute

makes point he has good relations with Putin but he is still tough with him

very good point Bush

Now lets here more Kerry obsfucation

hehe

its ridiculous

this guy Kerry just gave the most hallow debate I have ever saw in my life

Whatever debate team Kerry was on at Yale they should have a meeting tomorrow and explain just how you do not debate and re-enforce good debate tactics for the youngins.

One thing is certain, Kerry made it obvious that it's a whole lot easier to sit back and bash decisions and policy than it is to educate and re-explain policy to the American people who don't understand issues facing the President on a daily basis. You can spew a whole lot of criticism on many issues in 2 minutes but need much more time to explain them in simple terms for the average Joe voter. Negativism resonates louder, unfortunately. Bush was much too nice and should have pointed out the fact that Kerry wasn't telling the truth instead of just correcting his lies as if it was a simple oversight. Hopefully, next time.
