More on my earlier rantings about Kerry's lies and deceptions (this is all from memory)
All of the things Bush nailed him on, over and over, made a big impression.
Kerry, wanting to avoid the whole VN thing mentions it twice, both times when he was backed into a corner over his un-American behavior and quotes.
Get rid of weapons systems - sounds familiar. Americans don't want to disarm America - we want the biggest baddest sh*t on the planet, because that is what keeps the 'bad guys' at bay. Americans do NOT want anybody else to have the big boom-boom - because we do NOT trust anybody else.
I bet that you can count Kerry's hospital visits (excluding BoTox treatments and photo-ops) to veterans on one hand. I would bet that he has NEVER personally written to a soldier after leaving the service, except to perpetrate fraud, answer charges, or solicit funds.
Coalition of the unwilling and coerced. What a way to get someone on your side.
Iraq is NOT the center of the war on terror? Again, I would wager that Kerry would not know a terrorist if he was working in the campaign. If those are not terrorists shooting at our troops, would Mr. Kerry care to explain who the heck they are?
Iraq was not linked to AlQueda? Really? Hmmm.
Kerry said he would have removed Saddam, but left their government intact. Brilliant idea.
Outsourced troop deployments? Not how I would phrase it - try "Aided our coalition partners in attempting to apprehend OBL."
Many others, but the public is more immune to spin than before Rather(gate), and that episode is still clear.
The talking heads (usual suspects) are predictable, but the actual feelings of Americans can only be judged tomorrow, and then - probably - only on some of the blogs. |

N3, if you're referring to that part about the airport and container inspections stuff, I agree. I was horrified to hear him going into that much detail. The point easily could have been made without going into specifics, I mean, why make it easy? |
I don't know that Kerry should advertise it to the widest possible audience, but, that stuff's been well known for some time. _________________ Paul R. |

[quote="redrightreturn"]I think it was hard for the president to maintain his composure whne Kerry started throwing out all those lies right off the bat.
The pundits are saying- "why didn't he counter Kerry?" Where was he supposed to start? And how was he supposed to get it all in in just 30 or 90 seconds!
This man Kerry is the most evil, pathological lying manipulator I have ever seen.
I am SO SCARED that the voters who don't know any better will actually BELIEVE HIM! Good Lord- he was even quoting Michael Moore!
SWIFTEES!!! SAVE US FROM THIS MAN! YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE!
The President cannot stoop to his level on live National TV!
GOD HELP US! THIS MAN CANNOT BE ELECTED PRESIDENT!

Agree, SBVT is now our real hope. Devils are smart and can easily manipulate people. Kerry is a great manipulator. You can't marry two rich women without having a true manipulative character.
SBVT, let's do more. _________________ All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. |

Global Test needs to become a part of every Bush speech.
Bush surrogates need simply repeat often "we believe the President won but even Lockhart says it was a draw so everything else from the Dem side is spin". |

Honestly guys I think one of the things that's going to resonate tomorrow is the "Global Test" Kerry says he will use. It's the comment that raised my eye brows anyway. It's that "get a permission slip" thing again and I just hope voters see through this dangerous fool. He will rid us of our defense missles and get a manicure while we are at the mercy of the world. _________________ Proud to serve! No medals required! |

TREBLINKA SQUARE?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
In answer to a question from Lehrer (in tonight's debate) Kerry - as if to PROVE his LONGTIME foreign policy experience, and his superior foreign policy knowledge - recounted how he had (with former Senator Smith (R-NH)) gone down into the bowels of the former KGB under TREBLINKA SQUARE.
ONE PROBLEM: Treblinka was the name of a NAZI EXTERMINATION CAMP.
The KGB was on Lubyankaya Square.
How could a presidential candidate - with Jewish heritage - confuse the name of a DEATH CAMP WITH ANYTHING ELSE!?!?!?!?!?
Instead of showing off his experience and knowledge, this exposes Kerry as a shameless ignorant fraud. |

I was disappointed that Bush did not put away Kerry tonight. I am not sure if this was part of the plan his advisors recommended. But clearly, Bush was not as aggressive as he should have been. Screw the "nice guy" or "guy whom you can have a beer with.' That is irrelevant when your enemy is attacking you like that. It was not a home run for Kerry, but it should have been a home run for Bush. |
I personally appreciated the "high road" approach. President Bush may not have been on "attack" but I wonder if that won't speak better to the swing voters by his taking the high road. I think that shows more character than any "attacks" he could have led. That is true leadership. _________________ If Kerry is the answer.... It must have been a STUPID question. |

hahaha naw but she was ready to high tail it (as Bush would say) back in 2000 if Bush got elected. Of course she knows where her bread is buttered and wouldn't really think of bailing. |

What is he waiting for?
How will he convince the French and Germans to supply troops to the fight when they have already said they wouldn't do it even if he is elected? What can he offer them? Cash, oil, contracts...what? |
First he has no power to do anything right now, secondly the way he will bring the others in is to give them reconstruction contracts, etc....to replace the dollars they lost by the oil for food program getting messed up. |

I'm concerned too. Kerry lied so much during the debate, but he was so confident that people will believe him. And, the media is not pointing his lies out.
Bush, as much as I love him, was ineffective.

I disagree on his ineffectiveness. GWB spoke to the people, Kerry showed a phony presentation. Which will win in the long run?????
And I never expected the media to point out his lies. But I have faith.... in the power of those "nasty" bloggers, talk show hosts, and the general public to point all those out!. _________________ If Kerry is the answer.... It must have been a STUPID question.

Kerry will hunt them down? HA I would like to see that maybe he would actually get a PH for getting actually wounded. But God help me if I was a soldier in his group. Kerrys head is so darn big and now orange it he would be a red flag for all to see. _________________ Proud Daughter of a Bronze Star Awarded Father-Iraqi Freedom

well all in all not a very good debate in my opinion. Was boring...couple interest quick attacks but Bush really could have nailed Kerry on the 87 billion, said something about 09-11 and how that changed everyone...it did! Unless you were looking to either break or make the candidate did not feel it was there. President took over tired. Kerry looked...well skerry.
Wel will see...only a month away. _________________ Born to raise a little hell! |
